Moses got big money & looks like he stopped trying. All the poor play we saw in pre-season really did carry over to the season.

We may very well be 0-4 & then, cue the music....

next to come will be the all important "players only" meeting where the senior members of the locker room will magically be able to motivate everyone & have players performing above their potential. (OK, that's tongue in cheek...too many years of watching garbage in & garbage out).

I've been a big Jay G proponent, but I'm really losing faith in him. Just doesn't seem to have the "it" factor. He gets out-coached too often. He should've grown into the role by now, but we're sure not seeing much growth.

They drafted the guy from California. Could happen later this season.

No, it won't .

On a similar note, did everyone watch Eli Manning just crumple several times, even before he was hit. Giants fans have to be ready for a change there as well.

Nope, Eli is getting tired of getting killed back there and I don't blame him.Reese should be fired! They have known all along they needed O line men.

You know you're depressed when you wish Checkdown Sam was your QB. He just dropped some dimes on that TD drive.

Bradford when protected is as good as anyone. When he's not protected he's an injury waiting to happen. Saints are not getting near him and he's making them pay.

i have pulled for this team since i was 6 or 7,i never been ashamed of pulling for this team until now.we had some bad teams during that stretch,i have not missed a game on tv or radion in over 40 years. but i dont give a damn if i watch or listen to the game next week.

So even during the 4-12 debacle in 09, you were still proud of this team? I mean yeah we looked mediocre in some phases yesterday, but it's a little early to panic for the rest of the year.

I just finished rewatching the game.

The Oline had a few miscues, but after watching again, I don't think they had as bad a game as I thought yesterday.

Not surprisingly, Kirk Cousins still looked like he was the biggest culprit of this loss. He was inaccurate all day even when not pressured. He did string together three drives where he moved the ball, and if they hadn't given up on the run, they may have fared better, but that interception in the Redzone was the game.

Pryor is another major culprit with all his drops and loosing the ball in the sun and a couple bad routes. He did show some ability in he short game, but they had three deep shots that they didn't connect on, if those start to hit this offense is instantly good again.

Rob Kelley was another culprit, Jay got away from the run too quickly for sure, but Kelly has to make more of his opportunities, there were a couple of plays where he fought and got every yard available, but the vast majority he was making the wrong cuts not following his blocks and running back inside into defenders instead of continuing toward the outside to daylight. I think he also missed a couple of blitz pickups. Chris Thompson on the other hand was a beast, and the offense ran better with him in. I'd like to see Thompson get more of the carries and I'd like to see what Perine can do.

Defensively the 2 main culprits were Everette and Swearinger, they both made some plays, but most of the big plays were against them. Hopefully they get on the same page, and I certainly saw flashes of Swearingers ability, but loosing Cravens is such a shame because he was our best bet against TEs and No one could cover Ertz again.

The corners on the other hand were had very few plays against them and consistently covered well. If they start catching balls they could be the best CB core in the league.

The front 7 had mixed results. It seems to be a vast improvement from last year. Our Run D is stout, and we did generate a lot of pressure when we rushed 4-5 , but our 3 man rush gets no push at all.

Allen quietly had a very solid first game making tackles at the line, taking on double teams, generating a push up he middle, and chasing the QB around, but he did miss a couple sack opportunities and got lost on two run plays that he could have impacted, but I expect he will be a force this season.

Preston Smith is playing well, in a sack or two, generally creating a lot of pressure.

Kerrigan is probably the Defensive MVP. Not only from the great Pick six, but he has the most burst off of the line and impacted Wentz more than anyone possibly.

Gallete showed some flashes, he is quick, I didn't see him in as often as I'd like to on passing downs.

Foster and Brown are a legit MLB duo. They are the reason our run D is improved. The new guys on the line help, but Foster and Brown were all over the place, but they aren't so great in coverage, which is a liability.

I think that opposing Offenses are going to have the short game on us all year, but if Swearinger and the CBs can hold it down deep, this D can keep us in games, but methodical passers will march down the field, unless they can continue to and increase their turnovers then they will continue to be a liability if given short fields and are kept on the field for too long.

Bottom line, Cousins and Pryor need to get on the same page fats because if they do then this D is improved enough that they will be a better team from last year. I'll give them a pass because it's the first game of the season and if you look around the league it was a theme in week one that good QBs had bad games. Cousins has a lot to prove, he put a target on his back yesterday. If he is our franchise QB, he will rise to the occasion, if not he either fizzles out completely this year without Garçon and Jackson or does what he has the past two seasons, play well enough to stay in contention late in the season and then break our hearts again. My money is on them having another year like the last 2. If that's the case, is there any hope of retaining Cousins, and would you want to? He is the best Redskins QB I have ever really gotten to watch, so in my heart I want to see him breakout finally into elite status, but a QB that is really effective until the Redzone, the 4th quarter, and the end of the season when it counts is too much of a liability to command so much of the cap space. The season goes as Cousins goes, and so does his future here.

^ nice job. I think on defense, our safeties were the only weaknesses...couple miss tackles and the big play.

The offense to me was inexcusable...right side of oline, cousins and Pryor really disappointed. Jay needs to do a better job getting the run going.

Getting pressure under base defense also needs to improve.

The Rams defense is no picnic.... at all.

I don't like the fact that Crowder is highlighted by opposing defensive gameplans.
He was having a field day within the shadow of Djax / Garcon... heck and Reed.

Now its left to him to find space. I mean for him to have the game he did. He was always a safety net for Kirk. He was smothered that game.

Kirk will play better moving forward.
