Given his injury history I think it's wise to not overuse him.

I typically agree with this but we are a borderline playoff team that needs to maximize big play opportunities. Since he is our only game breaker, we need to run him into the ground and see where things end up.

It's next man up if he does get hurt.

In critical games/situations I agree, but it's a long season. I think 10-15 touches a game is perfect for him.

I agree with this. It seems like we don't really remember early on in his career when he was getting nicked up a lot. I'd rather he keep maximizing his opportunities than run him into the ground and go next man up. Next man up doesn't always work with this team.

To be fair with that when we drafted him he was already hurt/recovering from injuries. In the last couple of years he hasn't had any major injuries.

I would be for giving him 100 to 125 carries a season he already had 50 catches last season

Carries/catches are just a term to me, if he got 125 touches a season I'd be fine with it. He's equally talented receiving out of the backfield as he is running the ball.

He is a guy defenses must account for when on the field...he applies pressure and match up problems.

He needs more touches...he should be in the backfield for all plays once we cross into the red zone. If we get within 5 yard line then put the power back ins.

The Skins offense is more dangerous whenever Thompson is on the field, so I'm happy that he's not going anywhere. Gruden needs to game plan 8-10 touches per game for him.

That 61 yard run was bad ass. He looped back and forth then took off.

Yeah, my earlier math was off. 10-15 touches per game works for me. Two back systems are better anyways, it lessens the wear and tear on one back and if you have two different styles they complement each other better.
