Saw that Tampa Bay cut their kicker who they drafted in the 2nd round of the 16 draft. What kind of idiot GM would draft a kicker in the 2nd round?

What kind of idiot GM would draft a kicker in the 2nd round? skinsfan69 08-13-2017, 09:23 AM Goff is going to have a way better yr. He's the best QB out of last years class IMO. Mcvay will go wonders Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk Let's see what Goff does when the real games start. skinsfan69 08-13-2017, 09:26 AM Kap also had the incident with his socks, basically a big F U to law enforcement. He has no one to blame but himself. sdskinsfan2001 08-13-2017, 07:15 PM I find it hard to believe that CK wouldn't be on a team right now if it weren't for the whole not standing for the anthem thing. He's definitely being blackballed IMO. Blackballed, as in all 32 teams got together and colluded not to sign him? I don't think so, but if that's the case, only the Redskins and Cowboys will get in trouble for it. I think 32 teams decided individually that he isn't good enough to be worth the media headache and flak from all the fans that don't want a QB who shits on their flag on the team. If he was better, he would be on a team. But he put himself in this position. I have no pity. That is why Miami did not sign him. They would offend 1/2 their fan base. FlyerSkin 08-13-2017, 08:00 PM Do not forget the Fidel Castro shirt. That is why Miami did not sign him. MTK 08-13-2017, 10:01 PM He's good enough to be on a roster, look at all the QB depth charts and tell me he's not good enough to be a #2 on several teams. mooby 08-13-2017, 10:57 PM Kap also had the incident with his socks, basically a big F U to law enforcement. He has no one to blame but himself. That's all well and good, but the majority of people welcomed a sadistic dog murderer back into the league after a prison sentence. My point is, it's plainly obvious Kaep is being blackballed because owners know conservative white America (aka a decent proportion of every team's fanbase) doesn't like him. Is he a starter? Highly debatable. Is he better than half the backups in this league? Yes. This is the one rare instance where the talent isn't worth the headache. If he was a starter he'd be signed already. Guy cost the powers that be lots of money. Eisner has to be pissed, but ESPN brought it on themselves. Cap totally misplayed his hand. I'd be interested to see some hard numbers on what he truly cost the NFL. |
