Vernon Davis will probably end up being the starter at several points in the season. I hope I am proven wrong, but Reed seems like he is not very durable thus far. I am glad we got another TE.

FrenchSkin 08-01-2017, 04:42 AM Well it never hurts to have the proverbial chip on the shoulder. Pryor and Doctson > Garcon and Jackson. I think the biggest key to our success is Doctsons health and starting Zach Brown. I'd say starting Zach Brown alongside Mason Foster. They're the best we got at ILB. Just figure out this signals calling thing already... FrenchSkin 08-01-2017, 06:24 AM https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/football-insider/wp/2017/07/31/redskins-training-camp-updates-will-bashaud-breeland-start-at-outside-cornerback/?utm_term=.2cc2b6fa0588 Fuller seems to be doing great. Really good news, want him and Breeland pushing each other to their best. It'll give Moreau some time to develop. skinsfan69 08-01-2017, 09:51 AM The media is obsessed with us losing Jackson and Garcon. Do these idiots know that we invested in what many think was the best wr in the draft last year? Do they realize that we have Pryor as well. Potentially these are better wr's than Garcon and Jackson? Jackson is just instant offense..can't block, gets hurt, time to move on. Also do these assholes mention Crowder and Reed? I just don't get why the so called experts think we're going to take a step back. Personally I think this offense may explode this year. FlyerSkin 08-01-2017, 09:51 AM Keeping our qb for another season is not a bold move. Its like a lot of the media root for us to fail. Its weird. Bleacher Report went all video and social media. I don't like the new format. Like I really care what a player tweets. Give me some real news. FlyerSkin 08-01-2017, 09:57 AM In their defense, I feel like a lot of media outlets have been focusing on this. It is the only thing going on with the franchise that will get a lot of clicks. All sports media sites have gone full retard with posting tweets and watering down content. Real reporting is a thing of the past. FlyerSkin 08-01-2017, 10:01 AM The Skins official site post players tweets all the time and most of the time they are not football related or personal. That would bug me as a player. Chico23231 08-01-2017, 10:37 AM the first preseason game is Cowboys and Jerry going into the HOF...think I gonna pass watching. But I still should be able to smell the pile of bullshit at the podium here in Richmond when that pasty white bastard speaks. JoeRedskin 08-01-2017, 01:09 PM Its weird how our roster is way better than last year when we were 1 game from the playoffs, but our predictions for this year are very low in a lot of publications. I think we come in 2nd. Giants in 1st and Cowboys in 3rd. With all 3 with good chance of playoffs. Well, I think most talking heads see both the Giants and Cowboys as stronger teams that, barring injury, will continue to improve - particularly the Cowboys b/c of the Dak/Zeke element (which also makes good press/clicks). We have a really tough schedule logistically, lots of travel to the west coast and no extended home stands (most consecutive games at home is two late in the season, otherwise it rotates home/away throughout the season). While we believe that we have improved our roster, the improvements are not the kind that jump out all at once. We are starting two new safeties - one who has yet to play it on a regular basis at the pro-level and one who, though highly drafted, has bounced through four teams in his first five years. Last year, generally, we lacked play makers on defense. On offense, we let our starting WR's walk and replaced them with a guy who couldn't get on the field last year and converted QB who most consider still very raw in the new position. Add in the offseason drama and this is a team that - to paraphrase the old adage - only a died-in-the-burgundy-wool fan could love. Bottom line is that until the Skins show the ability to be consistent winners from year to year, they will always be picked to lose.
