With the exception of Marshall, things seem to be going pretty well at training camp. I'm very excited to see Pryor and Doctson on the field. Also very excited to see how our defense will be improved.

Every year, I say I need to go to training camp, years come and go and I never get a chance to go.

Its weird how our roster is way better than last year when we were 1 game from the playoffs, but our predictions for this year are very low in a lot of publications. I think we come in 2nd. Giants in 1st and Cowboys in 3rd. With all 3 with good chance of playoffs.

Just read an article on ESPN Insider titled: "Predicting the results of every NFL team's boldest offseason move." Here is what they had to say about the Redskins:

Washington Redskins

The move: Not finding a way to improve relations with QB Kirk Cousins

Prediction: Cousins' stats will suffer some in 2017 after the team lost coordinator McVay and key receivers, making it somewhat easier for the team to spin the situation when Cousins leaves as a free agent next offseason.

And I thought one of the comments nailed it by saying:

The Redskins part should have been about whether signing Terrelle Pryor was enough to make up for losing Jackson and Garcon, not just more pandering about Cousins not signing a long term contract.

Espn has gone from borderline ok coverage, some very good parts, to ok analysis....to now its mostly garbage. They are working more of a gossip angle, with really bad reporting and worst analysis. Hot takes rule with lil or no factual basis. The beat guys are probably the best stuff....like Keim and his counter parts.

I rarely watch it and find myself going less and less to the webpage. I mean, its really bad now. Sportscenter as a show is completely the worst its every been.

Look at the economics of the business of ESPN...the stumbles and poor decisions are legendary on what not to do.

So, Why should I expect more other than Cousins low-hanging-fruit-analysis that really panders to someone who really doesn't know football...but recognizes the name Cousins as a QB.

ESPN has gone from Icon, to tunnel vision, way to sure of itself, to most tabloid. Disney is so effing pissed.

In their defense, I feel like a lot of media outlets have been focusing on this.

Well it never hurts to have the proverbial chip on the shoulder.

Pryor and Doctson > Garcon and Jackson.

I think the biggest key to our success is Doctsons health and starting Zach Brown.

Definitely a premature prediction, but I could definitely see Doctson and Pryor being an even better duo than Garçon and Jackson.

There are only so many passes to go around. If the running game gets better, there will be fewer balls to catch. Who will see a reduction? Reed, Chris T, Crowder??

A lot of people think Crowder will have breakout season. He had 67 for 847 last yer, he could easily go over 1,000 yards.

Keeping our qb for another season is not a bold move. Its like a lot of the media root for us to fail. Its weird.

If Doctson is healthy, big if until you see it, we'll have 3 explosive receivers and the best tight end in the game. I know i haven't seen him for us yet but i hope we sign Kirk long term and franchise Pryor if needed.

If offense is healthy, Kirk should have a freaking field day most games.
