Jamison Crowder our #1 target?metalskins 06-26-2017, 12:46 PM Plenty of smaller guys have had big time careers. Steve Smith jr for instance. 30gut 06-26-2017, 12:51 PM Apparently, Jamison Crowder has been the preferred target for Kirk Cousins in OTAs (https://www.reddit.com/r/Redskins/comments/6harwn/jamison_crowder_has_been_the_preferred_target_at/). I was anticipating he would be the 3rd target after Reed and Pryor, but how will the targets end up being split? And where does Josh Doctson fit into that? I see it being something like: Jordan Reed ~100 targets Jamison Crowder ~90 targets Terrelle Pryor ~70 targets Josh Doctson ~60 targets Chris Thompson ~40 targets Terrelle Pryor-100 targets Brian Quick-80 targets Jamison Crowder-80 Josh Doctsun-50 Jordan Reed-60 targets Vernon Davis-20 targets Chris Thompson-60 targets Schneed10 06-26-2017, 05:24 PM Terrelle Pryor-100 targets Brian Quick-80 targets Jamison Crowder-80 Josh Doctsun-50 Jordan Reed-60 targets Vernon Davis-20 targets Chris Thompson-60 targets If Reed is getting 60 then you must expect him to play 8 games. GTFOH EARTHQUAKE2689 06-26-2017, 07:57 PM If Reed is getting 60 then you must expect him to play 8 games. GTFOH Yeah and why in the name of sanity is Brian Quick getting 80 targets?? EARTHQUAKE2689 06-26-2017, 07:58 PM Steve Smith jr for instance. Santana Moss and Antonio Brown to name a couple more. Crowder is more than just a slot WR to me, he could play on the outside if needed. RobH4413 06-27-2017, 10:03 AM Santana Moss and Antonio Brown to name a couple more. Crowder is more than just a slot WR to me, he could play on the outside if needed. He is, but he is best utilized as a slot given our personnel. I'm making the (MAJOR) assumption that Doctson is ready this year... and that Pryor is the de facto outside threat. I guess my opinion here is that if we were doing a madden rating by position, JC would be a 95 at slot receiver, but a 82 at outside. Sure, line him up in some of the two receiver sets or at running back in your offense, but in the vast majority of plays he should stay put. Just looked up your Antonio Brown comp, and they have strikingly similar dimensions, college careers, early stats etc. I hope you are on to something there. Would be nice. insane4theskinsi 07-04-2017, 05:46 PM wonder if crowder is gonna return punts too still? |
