No excuse for drinking on the job.
That is NOT the fucking reason.

Redskins fire GM Scot McCloughanNC_Skins 03-09-2017, 09:05 PM No excuse for drinking on the job. That is NOT the fucking reason. SkinsGuru 03-09-2017, 09:06 PM They knowingly hired a functioning alcoholic who was let go from two previous teams. He relapses and it's all of a sudden a surprise? If it was just the drinking, I'm fairly certain they had built-in contingency plans to make sure the machine kept running (while riding it out with SM). It should have taken a monumental faceplant to fire him- like a video of SM streaking across the 50 yard line to Danny's office and taking a leak all over his desk going viral type faceplant. One player said he was drunk. However: "Of a half-dozen Redskins players reached Thursday afternoon, none said they’d ever seen McCloughan drink in the locker room. All but one said they never saw him act if he weren’t composed and in control. They added that they never felt he wasn’t able to do his job, and they seemed surprised the question was being raised. “I don’t know what their issue is with him,” one player said, “but all the players love Scot.” This move reeks of jealousy just waiting to use drinking as the excuse. Snake in the grass. he relapsed multiple times and they forgave him and then HE decided he couldn't be there for the most important time of the off season . . . this is on SM itvnetop 03-09-2017, 09:08 PM he relapsed multiple times and they forgave him and then HE decided he couldn't be there for the most important time of the off season . . . this is on SM Says an unnamed "official." And he probably peace'd out from the combine because he couldn't take any more of Allen's ego. DynamiteRave 03-09-2017, 09:08 PM I'm hearing that the reports of Scotty falling off the wagon is a smear job and that firing him was actually a power grab. CRedskinsRule 03-09-2017, 09:09 PM Who knows. Its a done deal now. If they re-sign RG3 then and only then will I say its 100percent Dan Snyder/Bruce allen Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk NC_Skins 03-09-2017, 09:10 PM he relapsed multiple times and they forgave him and then HE decided he couldn't be there for the most important time of the off season . . . this is on SM WHo's this from? Bruce Allen? I think the other reports are more likely to be correct about Bruce Allen's ego. Dude is a straight up liar. Meks 03-09-2017, 09:11 PM Makes me sick Schneed10 03-09-2017, 09:12 PM In Jay I trust. SkinsGuru 03-09-2017, 09:13 PM WHo's this from? Bruce Allen? I think the other reports are more likely to be correct about Bruce Allen's ego. Dude is a straight up liar. i've been around some very very bad alcoholics . . . there is NO question in my mind that SM has been hitting the sauce very very very heavily . . . AND, multiple sources say it was all SM's decision to bail on the combine . . . and then he kept drinking and could not be here for the start of FA either . . . sorry, but that is on him . . . period . . . only think snyder and allen are guilty of this time is hiring a drunk and expecting it not to be a problem. MTK 03-09-2017, 09:14 PM That is NOT the fucking reason. Maybe, maybe not. Still no excuse for showing up to your job drunk. Sorry but there's no defending that whatsoever. |
