You Got a Better Plan?

This is what I suggested...

Offense Veterans:
Terrelle Pryor Sr. (done)
Kendall Wright or Cordarrelle Patterson (Visited Today) or Ted Ginn Jr. (Going to New Orleans)
Kevin Zeitler ( Now a Brown) or Luke Joeckel (if he is willing to play guard)
Adrian Peterson (1 Year prove it deal)

Defensive Veterans:
Brandon Williams (Raven resigned)
Johnathan Haskins
Bennie Logan
Lorenzo Alexander ( Leadership, glue guy, Redskin)
Donta' Hightower
John Cyprien or Tony Jefferson (Got dj swearinger instead)

If they make these moves I would be okay with trading Kirk. I would draft Christian McCaffrey, Deshone Kizer, and Johnathon Allen or Solomon Thomas.

I would suggest to Kizer that he spend his offseason with Jon Gruden like Cousins did to become better with in this system. The team overall would be better.

Here is my plan:

49ers want Kirk, but are probably reluctant to give up the #2 pick. So, we trade Kirk to San Francisco for their 2nd and 3rd round picks this year, and their 1st and 2nd round picks next year.

Then, this year, we flip one of our third round picks (plus an additional late rounder if it takes it) to Cincinnati for AJ McCarron (who is on the last year of his rookie deal). We extend him at a reasonable rate for three or four years (instead of waiting until after the season).

Then, we use our 1st round pick to take Dalvin Cook or Leonard Fournette if they are there. If they aren't, we take best defensive player available. In the 2nd round, we use the two picks to find a stud wide receiver and another best defensive player available.

With the money we free up by moving Kirk (which we should do now if we are going to do it - as soon as we have the trade arranged for AJ), we should use the cap savings and make a major push for one of the available free agent DL (Hankins, Logan, or Poe), and Dont'a Hightower. Maybe, if we free up more space by releasing Hall and Lauvao, we even make a push for TJ Lang.

My plan: Hire a GM that can convince Kirk to stay. If that won't work, then fire Bruce so Kirk will stay. Without Kirk this team will be back to 5 wins.

Regardless of what BA is. You can't fire a team president because a diva(and at this point KC has become one in my eyes) wants him fired. That's the path back to DS being enmeshed in player personnel matters.

Kirk is far from a Diva. If it's true about him wanting Bruce fired, I'm sure it for a good reason. I personally think the report about him wanting Bruce fired is untrue. It also seems a little suspicious he signed the franchise tender as soon as Scott was fired. Moreover, it seems like the Kirk conjecture has stopped for now.

Diva may not be the right term maybe spoiled little rich kid is better. His agent is the one quoted saying Kirk won't sign with BA here so why would you not believe it?

As for the timing of his signing, seems like he saw the release of SM as a sign that the team had finalized its intent. What good does not signing it do?

I offer his a legitimate deal and if he refuses, I trade him to Cleveland for 1st this year or next year and a second this year or next year. Sign Jay Cutler as a back up to Colt. Draft a QB this year or next year. If he refuses to go anywhere other than SF. I bench him and tag him next year and he never plays again. I roll 8 - 10 million of this years salary cap to next year. This limits his contract damage next year.

Sorry. - i was wrong it was sources close to KC camp not.his agent. But it also was Chick Hernandez who tweeted it and I view him as a very credible reporter on the Skins beat.

Regardless if its true or not, let's just hope it gets worked out. Without Kirk this franchise will continue to spin in circles.
