Report: Redskins' GM search yielding few takers (http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabid/61/EntryId/62550/Report--Redskins--GM-search-yielding-few-takers/Default.aspx)

UGH. Dude, don't link us to a report that's reporting on somebody else's report. 24/7 does this crap all the time. Link us to the actual original report.

Red Zone reads JLC's article on CBS Sports and writes a report on it basically repeating what he said, but putting in their interpretation. You linking it here is tantamount to whisper down the lane.

Just link us to the original JLC piece. Fuck.

Are we all in some sort of agreement that Eric Schaffer should remain as he is now and maybe not be considered promoted to GM; given that we are not sure how much of a "football personnel" type of guy he is?

This why we are lucky to have BA and JG. Very very few qualified folks want come here and do these jobs.

Fortunately, we only need one taker to have a good GM.

Yep, praise be. It's a great feeling knowing the rest of the NFL doesn't want to poke us with a stick.

I'm thinking if they haven't already, Doug won't be getting the job.

If you look at DW's resume he's certainly more than qualified. If Elway and Newsome can be successful NFL GM's then why can't DW? I just hope that if he's hired that he's allowed to do the job his way. No bullshit and game playing from Allen. DW doesn't seem like the kind of guy that's going to take any shit from Allen anyway.

I hope they give him the job cause he deserves it and know one else wants to work for the two clowns at the top. Doug knows pro and college football and knows what it takes to build a winner.

Everything out this guy's mouth is just not believable at this point. Sorry, he's lost most of his credibility.

Clearly this is just part of the Dan Snyder/Bruce Allen shit show.
