They said he never stopped drinking, but it wasn't a problem. That could be debatable based on who's being asked.

We are going to have non-football guys picking players again. Who picked KC, who hates Shanahan. It's just about ego, and not being wrong. I didn't like Shanahan, he was right about Cousins(I was wrong about Cousins). Grow the eff up.
So Jay Gruden is a non-football guy? Doug Williams is a non-football guy too?

Williams was a coach, Gruden is a Coach. They aren't decision makers on who gets what contract. Which is why are in this mess with Cousins.

So the same when they hired him? This wasn't, "oh Scotts drinking again".
This to me is like "Desean Jackson is in a street gang or has street gang ties" leaked by the Philly Org as an excuse to dump him.
You can rationalize it anyway you want.

McC was just given 2 years that was clearly not enough time. AND we ALL agreed here this was a long term process.
My biggest problem with Bruce: 1. McNabb trade and then dumb contract 2. RG3 trade 3. Over ruling McC last year giving Cousins the extension.
these are pivotal management mistakes. I mean, set a franchise BACK mistakes. We all do understand this right?
I agree on #1, disagree on #2 except when looking in hindsight, and disagree wholly with #3. Having KC playout the year on a prove it deal was a bit of a risk, but honestly looking at how this year's negotiation has gone, and KC's apparent intransigence at being paid as an elite qb when he isn't, I don't know that a deal would have been reached last year, at least not one that was good for the team and good for KC.

I could drink 10 beers tonight in my basement; how the F would anyone know?

The truth in all this probably lies in the middle. It's a fact he has a problem with drinking. Why would it be a surprise if it's again a factor?

That's the great thing about history CRed,...Bruce's decision making at the QB position is GARBAGE.
These have proven to be major mistakes...which could have been adverted if we deferred it. 1 & 2 to the Shannies and 3 to McC.
clearly these have cost the Org

But I think the both sources would have said this. The story would be McC is in a bad spot and needs help.
But that's not the case. CLEARLY it was a power struggle which was allowed again by Snyder and his Organization.
its pride and ego of Bruce/Snyder....the track record is there folks.
