Simms catches a lot of flack but so does just about everyone in broadcasting. I guess CBS knows something about Romo the rest of us don't.
it's hard for me to tolerate phil simms, his voice alone is bad - his excited opinions are worse. but, he's not as bad as collinsworth.
nightmare scenario would be collinsworth and simms together in the booth. i miss john madden.
my most hated tandem is obvious, buck and aikman. Collingsworth is awful as well. Simms doesnt really bother me. But this romo crap might just take the cake.

i don't mind buck and aikman, i'm not sure why because they can be pretty annoying. it may be the simple fact that i greatly favor the audio on fox to the audio on cbs.
is it just me or are the cbs games much quieter? the crowd noise levels much lower than those on fox. to me, it takes away from the excitement of the game.

joe buck effing sux balls.
I didn't think Simms was to terrible.
Collinsworth has grown into a pretty good broadcaster along with Aikmen.
IMO, this just isn't the right fit for Romo. Im really surprised he didn't try for a couple more years in Denver or Houston.

His body has taken quite a beating. I do think (if healthy) he could have taken Houston or Denver to the promised land but it is probably the smart choice.
Oh and eff Simms. He is a d-bag. ✌️

Per @AdamSchefter: After eight seasons, DT Terrance "Pot Roast" Knighton is retiring from the NFL at age 30 to pursue a career in coaching, he said. Great run.

Colts sign top available free agent Jonathan Hankins | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/04/13/colts-sign-top-available-free-agent-jonathan-hankins/)
Colts just gave the second richest contract to a free agent dt this offseason and seeing who else was available, it doesn't make much sense

Sad news...he enjoyed a heckuva run. May his soul rest in peace.
