You can count Week 16 at Philly all you want. But the Cowboys mailed that game in. They promoted a bunch of fodder off of the practice squad and let them play with 'Butt Fumble" the entire second half. Cowboys win came when they got out of that game without significant injuries to any starters.

Who cares when you win games? There are so many contributing factors. Injuries, suspensions (like Trents), etc etc. Who gives a crap about only the last few weeks? Like someone else asked you "do you consider Dallas a .500 team because they finished the year 2-2. If you lose next week 2-3?
Your question about how you gauge a team based on their finish cannot exclude your team? So either we are coming off a winning season, or (if you lose) we are both losers?

Would I rather go out on a winning streak? Absolutely. Is your last half record indicative of the direction of your team as a whole? I 100% disagree. I just think it's some talking point by Kirwan.
