No, I mean the team played just well enough to get a mid-round 1st round pick in the draft but not make the playoffs.
FYI... Darrell Green was the last 1st rounder picked in the 83 draft. Dan Marino was second to last. That draft pick stuff is BS. Good football players in all rounds of the draft

look at what Flacco is getting.... KC is much better

Yea...but he got the contract directly after winning a super bowl. If the Ravens don't win it that year, Flacco doesn't get that contract.

Seriously. WTF is wrong with some of you drunk asses? Who the fuck are your other options at Qb? Da Faq outta here with this get rid of Cousins talk.
So we keep him if the price is right. Which would be about 17 a year imo. Than we have a stop gap quarterback until we find one mentally strong enough to win. Whatever.
Some other team like the Jags or Browns will offer him 22 and we will say see you later.

Your defense isn't gonna be good if 2/3 of your Cap is on offense... Don't let the offense off the hook for not showing up in big games. Still the schedule was brutal, and they probaby finished about where the should have.

Good players being drafted late doesn't make your likelihood of getting a better player earlier BS.

Cousins has done enough to justify signing him and enough to justify letting him walk. It really is a 50/50 decision that the fate of the franchise for at least the next few years depends on. I don't envy SM.

And how many teams in the league need a QB? Pay Cousins 17 mil, and Chicago, Jacksonville, New York Jets, and probably 5 other teams will be HAPPY to pay him 19 mill.
Worst case scenario is Cousins gets tagged again.
He's not leaving.
