I used to be so upset after a loss, I started coaching my kids football team this yr and we actually went 11-0. After every game I realized those wins mean nothing in life, yeah it looks good and all but what matters is, you still have to get up the next day and go to work. Even after tonight nothing changes lol we lost o well, a fan can't control anything the team does. Merry Christmas to u guys
Sorry for your loss
Exactly, at the end of the day this is just a hobby. As soon as the game ended I thought "well this is mildly depressing. At least The new Star Wars movie is just a year away now. And there's a good chance well get a new trailer in March." :)

I quit Fantasy. It's no fun for me. Like i said being a skins fan is like supporting an abusive spouse.
I used to be a big, fantasy football guy. I noticed late last season that my passion for it was dwindling. I played this year out of habit. I barely did much to my roster throughout the entire season, and find myself in next week's championship game, per my league.
It'll be my swan song to go out on top. LOL I may eventually have a change of heart, but I think this is probably my last season participating in fantasy football.

I've long moved past the days where I'd be livid or bothered for days on end after a Redskins loss. It's been years! You get older and, hopefully, more mature and other things in life is more part of your focus (kids, wife/girlfriend, job, other activities, etc.). Then, this stuff called sports isn't a huge deal when your team loses. Unfortunately, there are still older folks who'll get seriously bent out of shape when their team loses. Once, you reach a certain age, then this stuff shouldn't create emotional shifts. Those type of people, IMO, have some type of shortcoming(s) in their life and vicariously live through sports for some type of gratification.
I was irked throughout the game. I thought about it for a minute or two, once it was over, then moved on. I love to see the Redskins win, and would love to get back to the days of Gibbs I. I hate losing. But, these loses doesn't sting as bad, as in years past due to where I'm currently at in my life. I can say, I'm glad those days are in the past.

Bottomline, after two full offseasons and drafts we have about three keepers that he was responsible for. Crowder, Norman, scherff. Am I forgetting someone worth keeping that he is responsible for? And dont tell me give Smith time. That dude is a straight bust. He doesn't even show glimpses.
We needed a DT this year and we got Doctson, a guy who might very well be a bust when it is all said and done. His going for football guys spiel is moronic. Who cares if they are football guys. Hell I am a football guy, but that doesn't mean I can play S for the Washington Redskins!!!!!!!!! Get the best available at the position. This draft was a waste if Cravens can't stay healthy. If Ionnidas develops along with Fuller the draft might end up half decent, but right now it was overhyped. Also Norman's stock has gone down a bit, not necessarily of his own doing either. One guy can't be expected to cover an entire field because his fellow secondary mates suck ass. We have so many holes to fill on the defense still that Scott can draft virtually any position on defense and look like a winner. I am not about to bail on Scott, but I am not sure he is the next Bobby Beathred either.

I keep thinking back to the Skins letting Alfred Morris leave town. We could have resigned him, instead the skins went with an unproved Matt Jones who is buried on the bench. Now Fat Rob is the guy who works his ass off, but does not have the talent of an ALMO.
Not sure if I really have a point just frustrated overall.
I love Alfred, but he was not the answer. I never saw anything in Matt Jones. Rob Kelly* is a good back, if he gets some blocking. He would have a 1,000 yds if he played for Dallas.
*lets drop the Fat Rob nickname... he deserves better

Agree. Alfmo was a healthy inactive for Dallas this week.
