I honestly think we're good at Center. We need ILB, Safety, DTs, lots of work on defense, but if we need anything on offense, it's an upgrade at LG.

You listed the short term problems. Next year they need help just about everywhere.

It may be NFL football heresy to move TW to LG, but Nsekhe-Williams-Long-Scherff-Moses would be very strong, wouldn't it?

I read somewhere that TW doesn't like the idea. Well, I don't like him getting himself suspended in mid-season, so he can just deal with it. You know, team first and all that, Mr. Team Captain Williams.

TW has no more say in the matter...Man the fuck up because he bitched the fuck out the last 4 games.

Ill give Luavao 1 quarter this coming game, but if he struggles tell Silverblunt to be ready.

He's also a rookie who didn't play in a pro style offense at Miss State. You have to give that kid an awful lot of credit. He's been very impressive. It would be stupid for the Cowboys to run the offense that they'd run with Romo in there. Time will tell if he can grow into a complete NFL passer.

Absolutely give him credit. For doing exactly as he is told, playing with poise, not making mistakes, which is because he is not asked to do much, but sure he gets a ton of credit. KC right now is a top 5 quarterback though.

OK since you went there.

Dak has 120 less pass attemptso compared to Kirk. Let's compare what each QB is asked to do before the snap.

Dak Prescott
Calls play in huddle
Has option to check to run or switch direction of run
Has option to check hot

Kirk Cousins
Calls play in huddle
Has option to check run, pass, and direction.
Has option to change position of players on the field
Has option to check protection and calls protection
Has option to check hot
Has option to run turbo or no huddle

These are two different QB right now. Kirk is asked to do alot more because he's trusted by the coaches. Dak isn't even allowed to call protection. They give that option to the Center Frederick.

Dallas also has a basic scheme, Dak is required to see one side of the field with combo routes. Two reeds maximum and then checks his hot. Kirk has ability to scan whole field, adjust the play and routes and cording of the defense, has multiple reads which sometimes goes to 5 reads.

This doesn't even include that we run choice routes like a mad man. The communication between Kirk and his WR is light years beyond what Dak is required to do.

You know why Dallas is more successful? They have the very best offensive line in the NFL. It's not even close. They have one of the best young versatile RB in the NFL that runs behind it.

So let's not compare 2 different QB in two totally different situations. Dallas is a better team then us....period. It fucking blows to say that and admit that, but it's true.

The choice route was a miscommunication and it happens. You are also going to throw more interceptions when you are asked to do more. Simple...

Zona is a more complete team then us, and beat us up. Our defense is terrible, and we need to address it in the offseason.

I agree, other than Arizona is a more complete team than us. They just happened to play a better game than us on Sunday. Arizona is a completely different team when they're at home versus on the road. I mean, extremely different. The#1 rated defensive team who was desperate and playing for their playoff lives, and they were at home (where they've been rather solid, this season).

As far, as the Cousins and Prescott synopsis, you're on point. Anyone who even halfway know the game can also see it. They're (the Cowboys) running an abbreviated Mississippi State offense. Prescott also rarely throws the ball under center, unless it's playaction or typically, boot action.

If anyone believes what they're doing is sustainable (long-term), even with the mega-offensive line, then you're more than likely gonna crap out. If you don't start seeing teams cracking it the remainder of the season or the playoffs, then you'll start to see it next season. Prescott will have to eventually evolve his game or the Cowboys' staff will have to get more creative. I'm not sure they can get more creative in disguising or minimizing weaknesses, as they're doing currently. So, the former will probably have to occur.

I find it funny seeing some Redskins fans worried about Dallas long-term. Why? There are only a small, handful of teams who has been seriously competitive long-term (ie, Patriots, Packers, Steelers, Ravens and the likes). Most of the league has been up-and-down to garbage. The Panthers had a dream season last year (15-1). They destroyed their share of teams, too. Look at 'em now. The Cardinals was 13-3 last season, and now are fighting to get into the playoffs.

This is a year-to-year league for most of the teams. Heck! It's basically a week-to-week league for the majority of the teams. Dallas is more prone to be fighting for their playoff lives or stinking it up, next season, than they are to being a consistent product like the teams I mentioned above. I'd wait another season or two before crowning Prescott and the Cowboys.

I also wouldn't mind another crack at 'em, if we make the playoffs. HTTR, folks!

Problem is without fixing the redzone issue i don't believe we will make it..our Defense is giving up way to many points for us to miss any opportunity at Td's..we can't make the playoffs kicking FG's .for what it is worth I think Cousins is a much better QB than Dak but I give credit where it is due.

Dallas has a better record, and beat the Redskins two out of two so far. I'm not sure I'm ready to say they are a better team though. In my humble Dallas Cowboy hater opinion, they just happened to score a few more points than the Redskins did on two separate occasions, head to head in 2016. Both games could have easily been wins for the Redskins with a little better execution in a couple key moments...I for one, hope they are able to meet again in the playoffs.

Agree...they've been poised and executed their gameplan maybe the best out of any team this year in the NFL. But the boys arent head and shoulders better than any current playoff team in the NFC and that's a clear fact. Wild card teams like the Giants, Detroit or Tampa bay could beat them at home.

The defense is so bad its sort of amazing that we've won as many games as we have.

We can make the playoffs by fixing the redzone problems. The defense sucks, there's no question about it. We have to be able to off-set that by scoring 35 - 40 points every week. No other way

If Gruden can dismiss Jim Haslett, then why can't he dismiss Joe Barry and Sean McVay who are far worse? If the coordination of the offense and defense is below average then a change has to happen!
