I personally can't see the youngest head coach in the league going with the youngest OC. If he doesn't offer Wes the OC job, then any job McVay offers wouldn't represent a promotion over his current gig, and Gruden would have the option to refuse to grant the interview. I didn't see McVay becoming the youngest head coach in NFL history either, but here we are. But seriously, I was just preparing myself for some form of disappointment, out of all the scenarios where he doesn't join us that would be the least likely.
