PorkSkins 12-06-2016, 02:41 PM Yeah, we're a rather poor defensive team, and have a below-average D coordinator. But, I'm a believer once you get in the playoffs, then there is a possibility things could fall your way, and you find yourself in the conference championship game or Super Bowl.
Our offense is more than good enough to contend. Never know.... The defense gets a few turnovers in the playoffs, and we win a game or two. I'd rather be in and see what happens versus being home. Besides, I'm always much more interested in the playoffs when the Redskins are in it anyhow.
TheMalcolmConnection 12-06-2016, 02:52 PM I just have this feeling the Cowboys get bounced in their first game. Was looking back and they've had a LOT of shit go their way to pull out some close wins at the end of games. I think the luck runs out.

I feel the same way. Could be just because I hate'm...but I think they could very easily be a 7-5 team right now. I have felt week after week that the ball just seems to be constantly bouncing their way. It all started with Church picking off Cousins in the end zone as we were about to go up by 10 in the 4th quarter. I don't think it is something that will continue.
I hope JG's post game ass chewing lights a fire. I think the players like him, respect him, and knowing there is no room for error, they have to come out with a purpose on Sunday right?
skinsfaninok 12-07-2016, 08:19 AM I really don't care what the other teams do. We need to take care of business Sun and go from there. We need to beat a down and out Eagles team. It won't be easy. They're at home and will probably play hard.
It's never easy for us, we will find ways to make that game close.
SirLK26 12-11-2016, 04:24 PM It was ugly but we did what we had to do. At 7-5-1 we are still very much alive in the playoff picture. It's a week to week league at times, so who knows? We might come out next week and dominate the Panthers
Minny beat Jacksonville of course, the rest of the games that really matter are still to be played. Need NO over Tampa, Seattle over GB, LA over Atlanta, and Dallas over NY

FlyerSkin 12-11-2016, 09:49 PM We just have to win out and see where the chips fall okie. To be honest,
I have to agree with the old timer about our slim chances. Our D is dreadful and Carolina and GB seem to be getting their swag back.

That forces us to root for the Cowboys this coming weekend, gag.

Green Bay seems to be getting back on track, but they're still behind us (and others) in the playoff race. Carolina is a week removed from getting blasted by Seattle. So, I can't say they're getting their "swag back."
As long, as the Redskins win out, then I feel we're gonna get in. The Falcons and Tampa Bay will slip up somewhere. Although, the Bucs' defense has stepped it up in the last month, my money is on them slipping up, based on their remaining schedule.
