The truth is, the short turnaround most definitely played a factor in the game. You're talking about a team that played in a late Sunday night game - which ended around midnight, and then had to turn around and fly out to Dallas on Wednesday. They usually don't practice on Monday, especially after a late night win, so you're looking at Tuesday being the only day they had for walk-throughs. No time to game plan, no time to heal up from the previous game. It most definitely affected the Redskins.

The NFL dropped the ball on this one. But anyway, what's done is done.

Yeah, Gruden said they tried to install some Dallas game plan during the bye .. 3 weeks before the Dallas game and before we played the Vikings and Packers.

While I hated the short turn around, Dallas beat us twice and without our defense showing me that they are capable of stopping the Dallas offense, Dallas is the better team. Dallas scoring drives last game were long consecutive drives.

Go Boys tonight though! Really need a vikings loss.

We only lost 3 other games. we clearly weren't the same team first couple of weeks we are now. We lost to Detroit in Detroit who is a good team. We got screwed by the schedule makers against Dallas the second time. Imo we only have one self inflicted loss. Week 2.

I was including the Cinci tie in the self inflicted category, as both losses to Dallas were (I consider our red zone woes in the second game to be self inflicted not anything Dallas did on defense). There is no doubt in my mind that if we play to our ceiling we beat Dallas every time, but we have only played one game, the Packers, to our ceiling. Dallas is currently playing every game to my concept of their ceiling. If we get everything rolling, like we can, then when we face Dallas again, we will be the better team.

I was being a stickler about Cincy. Lol. Most teams rarely play to their ceiling. Dallas has plenty of close wins. They are not rolling people. Not sure why you consider our close wins different than theirs in the way of playing to your full potential? Other than that u watch our games and not theirs.

d*** you are about to make me defend dallas :puke:
I don't watch their games close, but I have watched some this year hoping to see them fall apart or make mistakes, but they haven't. 3 examples where they rolled and we didn't
they beat cinci by 14 (and never looked close), we tied (absolutely self inflicted)
they beat cleveland by 25, we won by 11 and needed a few bounces in the second half
they beat Pitt, we looked like amateurs against Pitt.

NOW with that said, we did beat up Philly and they had to go to OT, and they still play the Vikings and Detroit and could lose to both, so I'm NOT saying they are a great team, just that they haven't created self inflicted losses (tie) like we have.

Don't let your homerism get in the way of common sense. The Cowboys are 10-1, having won ten straight games. The way to prove who is the better team is on the field where they have beaten us twice. They are the best team in our division.

I can't help but think of the 2007 season when Cowboys swept the Giants in the regular season on the way to a 13-3 finish and the top seed in the NFC. Giants came to Texas stadium in the Divisionals and beat the heavily favored Cowboys.

I can see that happening again if Dallas has to host Washington. In my opinion, as much as it pains me to say, Skins are the most dangerous team in the NFL right now.

Dallas will probably lose to the vikings and detroit just to f*** with us. Ok, they won't do it with that in mind, but they will probably lose anyway and take joy in screwing us up.

And we beat the Giants and they lost to them. And we beat Greenbay much worse than they did.
