The Redskins play bad on national tv..maybe this game will be different. this may be the most telling game this year of where the Skins are. my guess is If the Skins win it will be close..I hope i'm wrong and they step it up in prime time and lay it on.

I'm absolutely shocked that fans would have a bad feeling coming into a game. :doh:
Why is that? Whenever we get any good press and they talk up the other team as being on a slide we tend to blow those games. Games in which you originally thought should be a probable W at that point instead is a L. Look at the Lions right now, letting Jacksonville stay in the game while they should be killing them. Another thing, NFL.com analysts had the NFC North being swept this weekend. Things aren't looking that way now. Usually whenever these ESPN/NFL.com guys get hooked on a losing streak by one or more teams, they tend go with the other teams, jumping on the bandwagon s o to speak only to be proven wrong. Just the way it seems to work. They have the Bills RIPed then they start to win, etc. They already RIPed the Pack once this season, then for one game they came alive. I hope they don't come alive tonight. I am not talking conspiracy here, just that these morons in the press latch onto a team's woes too late and are made to look like the imbeciles that they truly are.

This time they are low key. Going into Detroit they were high on their press and made it clear that they "owned the east", only to lose in the last minute to the Lions. This hopefully is the game they iron out their red zone woes.

Um, I think you missed the point I was trying to make. What they said about the Redskins wasn't the issue. It was something that made our article stand out from all the others.
I get what you mean now, and that seems to be with any article written about the Skins. What they are doing with Cousins is moronic. They talk up as if his wrs and tes are propping him up, while Dak is a QB god of some sort. Who cares he has the best line in the NFL and has the best Rb to boot. Redskins are never seen in a totally glowing light, just lukewarm feeling conveyed in various articles.

Well, it is a prime time game. We hardly ever play good in prime time.

Yeah, I thought we broke the curse back in 2012 when we beat Dallas on Thanksgiving, but after last year's Playoff game & the Steelers earlier this year,
it feels like we still haven't figured out how to show up for the National stage.
There's a tremendously large difference between"hoping" we show up and actually having "confidence" that we will do it tonight.

i like it being read by the commentators during the pregame as well.
"this week the ignorant fan keys to the game include;
cravens spying rodgers
trent murphy playing fb
and blitzing on every down"
Well, The Skins DID use Cravens to spy Rodgers; they DID use a LB (Bates) at the FB position on the Goal Line; and they DID blitz more than in any other game.
We may have stumbled into something with these Ignorant Fan Keys to the Game. We ignorant fans are either geniuses or the Skins coaching staff is as ignorant as we are. We did miss the idea of going for it on fourth down in our own territory in the fourth quarter in a close game. That idea was solely Jay Gruden's. We fans are not that ignorant.
