Chico23231 11-10-2016, 02:29 PM International opinion. Regardless of how much the international community knows about our politics, they at least outwardly see the things he's said and done. I imagine if we just saw the highlights of someone like him elsewhere, we'd probably lose a lot of respect for those who voted him in.
EDIT: He also divided this country with a lot of hate. We've beaten that horse to death, but I've never seen Americans pitted against each other like this. Just an example from last night: where I work had a support meeting for foreign students and LGBT students. A few other students PROTESTED this meeting yelling liberal pussies to them. They see that it's OK their President can do it, so it's OK for them to do it too.

This University is 90% white, rich kids. The freshmen come in driving brand new luxury cars. I can't say this shocks me that much. For my wife who works in Development here, it makes it a little extra hard for her to want to raise money for kids acting like that.

Unfortunately i believe he has already spawned a million little assholes that think they are superior to anyone who has different beliefs than them. Than their are the other million who feel that way but just don't express it. Equally as disgusting people imo.

You don't know how true this is. Probably telling you more than I can/should, but my mother-in-law used to work in Financial Aid here and some of the stories would make you want to vomit. Some of them would literally lose their shit because the University didn't want to pay for their study abroad AND spending money. Yup, some of them straight up get University-sponsored allowances. These are kids who marked the "$250,000+" on their family income.

For many of them, this is what also attracted them to Trump. He wasn't politically correct and openly voiced their inner feelings. He was a "straight talker" in their minds, and in doing so, he was awarded the Presidency seat.

Unfortunately, Trump was the only non-establishment guy on the ticket so he's the one that they pushed through to make an example. It was a huge statement if you ask me. It pretty much said, we'd rather have this loud mouth racist, sexist con artist than your normal establishment guy who's going to continue to fuck over the middle class people.
People know good and well if Clinton had been elected, that TPP was going to be passed. At least with Trump in office, the TPP is officially dead. If you see it passed, you know Trump sold out to corporate America.
