Meks 10-31-2016, 04:25 AM The referees missed a flying missile into the side of Jackson's head, that knocked him out of the game, and Crowder almost getting his neck broke, but somehow they were able to see the smallest most minuscule contact on Garcon for the softest penalty in NFL history. Just amazing. The NFL better say something about this game. Gooddell, do something you bum. Seriously. irish 10-31-2016, 06:34 AM Team isn't going anywhere this year. Less impressed than most here...penalties, red zone offense and throwing 56 times a game equals loss. We beat this team today but too dumb to win It funny that you mention that the Skins are too dumb to win because I was listening on radio and Doc Walker kept talking about embarrassing it would be to lose to a team as stupid as Cincy but every time something stupid was happening it seemed to be a Skin doing it. This team should be 7-1 but like you said Chico, they are too dumb to win. SolidSnake84 10-31-2016, 07:20 AM I want to see accountability from the team, and so I feel, that a guy like Hopkins should be cut. Send the message that when you make mistakes that cost your team the game, it will not be tolerated. Kickers are a dime a dozen, not like we are asking to cut a QB or starting WR. If he can't be trusted to kick what amounted to be an extra point, then he cannot be counted on period. skinsfaninok 10-31-2016, 07:38 AM All of this is a wash if we come back strong and healthy and beat a one dimensionsal Vikings team in 2 weeks. And he didn't understand how a team could tie last week? Is he really that fucking stupid? Since no one has defended Gruden I have to assume he's that stupid,Our coaches suck Ohioskins 10-31-2016, 08:16 AM This team is so demoralizing to watch. Even when they are doing well, I feel like I am waiting for the other shoe to fall. If he can't be trusted to kick what amounted to be an extra point, then he cannot be counted on period. Cutting Hopkins does nothing to solve the real problem... scoring in the redzone. Hopkins has been a nice find, I wouldn't cut him off one miss and I think that sends the wrong message anyway. KI Skins Fan 10-31-2016, 08:38 AM These last 2 games should have been wins...just brutal. I appreciate the fight and how competitive this team is...which is a big positive and really defines this team since this time last last year. Other than that pathetic Pittsburgh game, we have played with the intensity which keeps us in every game. But what is aggravating is when we fucking dominant our opponent (like we did in the first half today, no question) but we can't get the ball in the end zone for td scores OR have lapses on special teams or dumb penalty or turnover which keeps the opponents in the game with easy scores. I've seen this multiple times this season where we should have 2 score or double digit leads, but we let the other team hang around. this is what pisses me the fuck off. I blame the coaches and the players... I share your frustration that we haven't been able to finish games. It's a damn shame that we failed to pick up wins the last two weeks. We could be 6-2 right now. But we're not. What we are is competitive. Right now, I'd say there are fewer than half a dozen teams in the league that I'd expect to dominate us in any given game. That's real progress. All year I've been trying to keep my emotions in check because i believe we are still one off-season (one FA period and one Draft) away from becoming a perennial contender. If we compete for a playoff spot this season, it's gravy, as far as I'm concerned. Rash changes in the coaching staff or player personnel is the last thing I want to see right now. We're headed in the right direction, so I'd hate to see the decision-makers rock the boat during the season. The off-season is the time to make all of those assessments and decisions, IMO. KI Skins Fan 10-31-2016, 08:43 AM Since no one has defended Gruden I have to assume he's that stupid,Our coaches suck He's not that stupid. It was a smart-ass remark reflecting his frustration. Jay Gruden is a keeper, IMO. Now, as for some of his assistants, he needs to take a hard look, in the off-season, on whether or not they should be retained. |
