His name is Jordan Matthews and he is on my WP fantasy football team. Thank you very much. Lol
Seriously I haven't played fantasy football in years for that very reason. Conflict of interests. I have Philly's D and Matthews and I hate that I have to root for and against them.......namely because I don't think that it's even possible......
Skins - 34
Birdies - 17
We own them recently, and while Wentz comes crashing back down to Earth (literally), Cousins is going to have a banner day. Say hello to first place after week 6.
great post, and i love this thinking

If we don't have Reed which I bet we wont, it won't kill us because it opens it up for Crowder to get over the middle and guys like Davis and Paul will get some chances.. Reed has been the main guy basically so it'll be nice to see other get the chance.
It's the red zone where it kills us. No Doctson, no Reed, we have no size.
Vernon Davis is a nice player but he doesn't have Reed's quickness and he doesn't run routes as crisply.
Matt Jones is going to have to succeed.

This...not only Matt jones needs to run the ball in the rz, but I would take advantage of underneath routes to running backs. Simple plays where our receivers run out or clear out coverage and we look to throw to our backs who can beat lb coverage. Teams like the patriots and Seattle always will run at least one play like this when they get within 10 yards of the end zone...
Also when you lack size we should run more pick plays to garçon or crowder.
I generally like pick plays or clear out underneath throws than fades in the end zone.

Agreed, though having the fade as a threat/decoy is nice. Forces the corner to play straight up as opposed to shading inside. Creates more opportunities.
Against Philly's Wide 9 front, it needs to be a Matt Jones kind of game. But 3rd and goal from the 5 is a great opportunity for a QB draw against that wide 9 front.
There will be ways to score, the execution will just need to be really on point. We need to control the line of scrimmage. If that happens then I like our chances.

Him and get CT in the game more on the goal line because he's a very quick receiver out of the backfield. Is reed officially out?

Bree and Phillips should sit. Dunber and fuller have been great.
Breeland was playing like shit and everyone knew it. Not sure Phillips should even be on an NFL field.

Breeland sit over Dunbar? You guys layoff the pipe, so he's had a few bad games, the time off will help. Want to see Paul as Reed's replacement

Yeah agreed, I love Dunbar, cuz he put in a lot of heart coming from the WR position, but he's not Breeland caliber IMO, announcers called him being aligned on top of Mike Wallace (or Steve Smith, don't remember) a "mismatch". Breeland had a hard game against AB and the Steelers, but he never got roasted, was always in position to make a play, just got beat by one of the best in the league. Then you could tell his confidence was broken and he was not at his best. I'm sure he'll come back from injury hungrier than ever. Watch out for him, and as of now I really don't think we've seen anything to start Dunbar over Bashaud...

If Dallas didnt exist I could spend a lot more time hating Philly.
There's no division rival I hate more than The Giants.
