neither is trent, why can't ty work at guard?

I think they have tried...too big and not fast enough is my best guess.

But don't you think if he could, the Skins wouldn't have moved a Probowl left tackle to the inside last game?

i would hope.

i'd be interested to see the feedback on his play at guard if they did give it a whirl.

let us pray that sullivan's back is feeling better than tyson's;

PFF graded Nsekhe as a 74.6 grade which is considered solid. In the breakdown, he graded very high with pass blocking and poor in run blocking. PFF didn't breakdown Silverback play from tackle to guard, but dude is a stud anywhere and Keim said it was damn good.

I wonder if they've thought about putting Nsekhe at RT and letting Moses take LG.

That seems dangerous. The right side of the line looks good and I am not sure why we'd disturb that.

If the sum of the parts is greater with Trent at LG, I think they have to roll with it.

Arie did not do well in a large sample size this pre-season.

They can do things schematically to soften the edge rush.

Like continuously running over the left side with Ty and Trent like they did against the NYG's 100 million dollar men or keeping a back or TE in. Kirk has a really quick release and they run plenty of play action.

Ty doesn't release out of his stance low enough, and has poor explosiveness out of his stance. Poor acceleration for the guard position and way to high in his stance.

Almost all of this is acceptable at tackle. Since you only need quick feet and great hip movement. Ty has great hands and his 6 drop is really quick. He's a solid offensive tackle.

Trent was better at guard because of his natural athleticism and quickness.

Hopefully Sullivan is up to speed. Shouldn't be to hard for him to get there. Played the position his whole career. Just needs to learn line calls. The rest comes easy.

Well hate that for Kory. Poor guy that can't catch a break!
