skinsfan69 09-26-2016, 11:40 AM There were atrocious calls on both sides, but.more so against us. I guess the NFL just doesn't care about this shit cause we've seen it for how many years? They continue to do nothing about fixing the issue.
Anyhow, hope we don't see that crew again. They should be fired after that shit yesterday. That was embarrassing.

Mike Pereira clearly disagreed with the miff punt play and the bruton int both were reviewed. Clearly that should be a red flag to the NFL that major game changing plays are being effed up. How is this stuff handled? To me there should be some sort of audit on game changing reviews with outcomes and remediation? I mean this is needs to be transparent with the league and the teams....and probably the fans. its bs.
The Bruton play...Jay was super pissed on the sidelines and I don't blame him
scowan 09-26-2016, 12:28 PM So the only guy scaring me next week is T. Pryor. Put Norman on him and run up the score.

David Burton absolutely intercepted that ball! How did the officials miss that? That would have taken 3 points off the board. Control, butt was on the ground in the end zone, then rolled into the pylon. I give up what is and is not a catch. Also, I thought OBJ had a reception that he fumbled, that they called an incomplete pass. I've been watching the NFL for 30 years and I don't know what a catch is anymore. Its gotten crazy.

THIS! and all the fawking commercials has me not watching anymore. I still like the Redskins but watching a whole game now a days is brutal.
sdskinsfan2001 09-26-2016, 01:02 PM Against similarly skilled teams, if you win the turnover battle you typically win the game. We did that. Cousins still missed on some reads/passes but he didn't turn it over and hit a big play to Jackson. Big improvement from week. Hope this helps get his confidence back.
In the red zone, we get too cute/complex. I feel like the types of plays/formations change way too much when we get down there. Keep it simple stupid.
Feel terrible for Hall. That's the worst negative. The 2nd is, the eagles look great. They smashed Pittsburgh.
Beat Cleveland.
Schneed10 09-26-2016, 01:10 PM I'd rather have Trent at LT and activate Kouandjio to take over LG while Long takes C. That is if both Lauvao and Kory are out this week.
We don't have a great LG, but we've got 3 OK ones. Kouandjio isn't bad.

There is no way he stays at guard. That was out of pure necessity. He's an awesome LT, you don't move awesome LTs to G. Its nice to know though, if needed, Williams can do it.
FrenchSkin 09-26-2016, 01:52 PM As amazing as Trent was at LG, I don't think he'll stay there because it is so important to protect the QB's blind side. Also, it would leave us without a backup swing OT on the bench.
I guess they'll move Long to LG if Kory can play and Lauvao can't or Long to C if Kory can't play but Lauvao can. If both Kory and Lauvao are out, they'll probably go with Long at C and Kouandjio at LG.
Thanks, clearer now.
I still think we really need a center. Neither Kory nor Long are agressive enough at the point of attack, in the running game.
Does anyone have an idea of who could be a good fit next year (draft, FA, trade ...) ?
los panda 09-26-2016, 02:16 PM t willy at guard reminded me of pop warner; we had a few kids on the team who rarely got to play. when we were up big we would let them run the ball.
we would plug our biggest hitters (usually our top 3 rbs, sometimes our qb, too) in at center and both guard spots, me and the other tackle would stay in our spots. we would create pretty good wholes and let the slow chubby kids carry the rock for a couple yards.
it was awesome to see how happy it made them.
