Worst case scenario: The Redskins lose some more games, life goes on.
The 2016 "Worst Case Scenario" Threadmooby 09-27-2016, 08:57 AM Worst case scenario: The Redskins lose some more games, life goes on. SolidSnake84 09-27-2016, 10:22 PM Agreed. The resident hypochondriac forgets his Valium and now this thread will likely never die. Sent from my S6 Edge I thought I was clear enough stating that myself, as well as others here, were deep in negativity at only two weeks into the season. My hope, was that we could use this thread to keep the negativity in one place, instead of clouding the gameday and post-game threads with the negative posts, etc.. So obviously it was a bad decision to start this thread in hindsight. However, in all that has occured on these boards, and we have been through everything from bad seasons to threads that are now in thread hell / debating with the enemy, and I have NEVER personally attacked another member here like you did to me. "Resident Hypochondriac"? Do me a favor and please self identify as something so that I can return the favor. Please. Because i want to insult you over something you don't have control over. Am I allowed to make some kind of politically incorrect joke or ethnic slur? Would that be okay? I thought I was clear that I was in deep negativity about the negativity on the board. Seriously though I do apologize if my characterization offended you. Sent from my S6 Edge punch it in 09-27-2016, 10:54 PM Bottom line is that SS84 really just puts a voice to all of our innermost fears. We as Redskins fans have witnessed 20 some odd years of a dumpster fire from ownership on down. To a man (and Rave [emoji4]) every one of us is waiting for the axe to fall. Whether its during a single game or over a season we all no how quickly something can go up in flames around here. We all think it. We all fear it. You see it during the gameday threads. We are winning in the fourth quarter. One little thing happens and everyone is "here comes the meltdown". "Ive seen this before". "Same old Redskins". Snake just doesn't hide it like we all do. I for one appreciate this thread as a negativity funnel. Dont know if it is realistic, as every other thread is going to roam the spectrum of emotions and be roses than crap, but its a Solid (snake) idea. Even if i said it should be shot. Seriously though I do apologize if my characterization offended you. Sent from my S6 Edge I completely accept your apology. I hope there are no hard feelings. I did get offended because about two years ago, I first asked for help on this board because I wasn't feeling like myself, and lo and behold I went to see my family doctor and I was diagnosed with anxiety. I was prescribed meds and after about a month I really started feeling great and back to normal again. Sometimes I have my down days (The redskins seem to help that :) ), so it really hurt my feelings. And I want to give you credit - I have posted threads in here before about needing medical advice / etc., so I sort of got where the "hypochondriac" label came from. I want to sincerely thank you for apologizing. Even if it was not needed because I took something the wrong way, you went above and beyond. Classy poster for clearing that up. Thank you again. |
