Good article here, not sure where it goes.
We need to remember this is only year two of McC's rebuild. I'd say we have another 2 years until we REALLY compete

Everyone needs to read that article and take a deep breath. He is not signing guys like Pot Roast for a reason.

are we going to be able to carry over all $18m or $19m of cap space into next season?
it looks like the titans were able to carry over over $20m from last season but i don't understand the rules.
if we can carry over all of our cap space into next season, i fully understand not signing guys like pot roast. but if not, i don't understand not signing a guy like forte or a guy like pot roast.

Espn said we were 3-14 in our last 17 home. Games... That's obviously not right

We didn't sign Forte because they wanted to go with
their drafted players. That's what we're going to he doing under SM's watch.
I personally would have liked them to try and go after the Jets NT to beef up the front 7.

Pretty obvious what he's doing, and it's not meant to be a quick fix.

bless his heart.
i also believe in the philosophy of building thru the draft but he signed norman because of the impact he thought he'd make on defense.
he obviously didn't think forte would have made a similar impact on offense, but i did.

One of the things I continue to notice is the lack of balance with the pass or run. You look back at history to the great teams that ran the west coast system who won Super Bowls and provide a formula to follow. Bill Walsh, Mike Holmgren, Mike Shanahan, John Gruden etc. None of those teams were as pass happy as the 2016 Redskins are! McVay has to be the most clueless offensive coordinator in the history of the NFL. The lack of play calling creativity inside the ten yard line where Cousins threw in the end zone to Pierre Garcon that was intercepted by Church was a result of a lousy lack of play calling creativity. McVay should have called for a run inside the ten yard line on either first or second down. But he's predictable and calls three straight pass plays. It makes it easier for the Scumboys defense to defend the pass.
