Joe Barry is the most vanilla, boring DC I've ever seen. Snyder should go back to putting ice cream on desks over in Ashburn. I'm not impressed with him at all. Yes we lack talent, but when you lack talent you need to scheme, bring pressure, you need to move guys around, you need to overload, do more zone blitz, be creative. Just do something! I just don't see anything like that going on at all since he's taken over. I miss Haz!!!

If you fire someone, the new hire should be an upgrade. Wade Phillips was an upgrade. Maybe even Jim Schwartz. I'm seeing more cronyism w/ this Barry hire.

At least he's surronded by some former DC's (Fewell and Manusky) shouldn't the CB criticism from Monday fall on Fewell? I say give him 1 more year and see what happens. Haz had like 5 or 6 and didn't do shit.

Here's what NY Giants CB Janoris Jenkins had to say about not moving Josh Norman to cover Antonio Brown: “I think when you’re paying somebody 70 mil, there shouldn’t be no game plan,” Jenkins said. “The game plan should be you’re on this guy, and that’s what it is.”

i'd like to ask him what about when you're paying somebody $50m.

Jesus.
What ticks me off the most is his satisfaction with the game plan after they hang 38 on us at home.

You also need an offense that can score more than 9 points in three quarters.
I'm not here to defend Barry or the defense. But unless you have a loaded defense like Denver, Carolina, or Seattle, you're not going to win many games if your offense can only muster three field goals in 3 quarters. Especially against a playoff contender like the Steelers.
Not having Norman on Brown was the dumbest thing ever, and the defense was horrible. But the offense was just as horrible and just as responsible.
Hell at least the defense had a turnover; and should have had two more. The offense took a big dump for three quarters and did something when it really didn't matter.
