Didn't see anything even remotely encouraging or positive. This is going to be a LONG season. Really afraid. Really Really afraid. No defense to speak of, Cousins looked beyond horrible. These guys out there tonight might win 2 or 3 games. Maybe less than that....
it'll be ok, the nfce is bad and we will beat dallas next week, as long as we got like 4-2 in the div we will be ok.

Agree. So far he:
1) Passed up on Leonard Williams to get Scherff, which seems like the wrong move at least right now. Williams could have sealed a big hole in the D and Scherff hasn't shown All-Pro talent yet at guard.This was the first thing that popped into my head watching the D-line getting manhandled tonight. Why did we pass on Big Cat!!??

Pittsburgh is a heavily favorite to go to the SB. Let's just calm down a bit. We just need to beat Dallas who is starting a rookie Qb on the road. If we do that we are 1-1 and can move forward. If not we are deep shit.

The world is not ending tomorrow. We do not need a new QB. We knew going into the game we needed D-Line help and a Center. We also knew we would struggle running the ball against their front 7.
Our MLB are fine if the D-Line does their job.
What is frustrating is the penalties. I have never seen a team that get so many in bunches. 1-10 holding penalty, 1-20 false start, 1-25 draw play for 7 yards.
It was a game of inches. It RK falls on the ball we have our second turnover, one inch and Breeland breaks up the TD on 4th down, and one more second and it's a fumble. We win big, it was not our night and the sun will come up tomorrow and we will be one game out of first place.
This. Some of you guys wear thong panties.. Whoever starts talking draft after week one needs to check there manhood.

It would be nice to start off 1-0. I hate going to work after my team loses.
It is disconcerting that once again vs. a good team, Cousins laid an egg. If we have to draft another QB that's another steep learning curve and another pick we can't use on a different position.

Next week, we need a better effort by our front 7 in the run and pass game, and better play by Cousins.
Its depressing watching teams run down your throat and not being able to return the favor.

One change I would,make is cut Houston Bates and promote Linden Trail, we need some big boys and pressure on D. I don't know who was worse out of these 3 Golston, Hood or Reyes? We have a solid big boy on our PS, former 3Rd round pick out of Notre Dame (Louis Nix)maybe give him a chance?
Our D-line outside of Baker are NFL scrubs. And even Baker is just average. The guys you mention are not starting for a reason. We know the d-line is an issue and it will be the entire year.

I agree. I'm just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. But there's really no way he should be playing like that and expect a long term deal. I hope that if we do get a high first round pick, we go for a QB. Followed by a C and a NT and a LG.
Hold the breaks. Way too early to be talking about drafting a qb in the first round. Lol... some of you guys crack me up.
