over the mountain 09-12-2016, 11:33 AM I need a ruling please.
If I see a vehicle with Steelers insignia on it, am I allowed to flick them off if I dont have any skins insignia on my vehicle? Im still deciding on what skins decal or magnet I want.
Obviously, if I have skins gear on my ride I have free reign on game day to harass the steelers vehicle any way I feel bc they will then see my skins insignia and know why.

A few years back when I first signed on here I posted about flicking a Cowboy stickered car off as I drove by. It wasnt even Cowboys week, but who cares its the cowboys right? I figured i had free reign to give them the bird. I did have a Skins sticker. It turns out there was an old lady driving. Completely wigged out about my flicking her off (unknowing that is was a grandma). Anyway I caught alot of grief on here for doing so.
I vote yes - flick em off. Flick em all off.

SirLK26 09-12-2016, 12:29 PM I havent wanted a weekend to be over and Monday to get here so badly since, well, last football season :biggthump
If our team is who we think they are, this should be a good game. But is this 2013 again? Doesnt feel like it, but I have to see before making any predictions. Beating Pitt would be a great first step

metalskins 09-12-2016, 01:26 PM My realist, sober, side of me says that this is one of those hard fought losses where the 'skins actually dominate for most of the game, but the Steelers find a way to pull it out in the end. So as a fan, you're left trying to decide if the team really has turned the corner or not. You feel OK, but yet you're left bitter from the outcome.
My kool-aid drinking side of me, (with a shot of tequila), says the Redskins shock everybody by dominating from start to finish, which propels them with wins over the Cowboys and Eagles, and makes the Browns wish they were never in the NFL, to go 4-0. I like this side of me much better.

I feel that way too, I think a lot of us do. I predicted the Steelers to win but as we get closer, I think the skins win.
Our secondary could be lock down. Norman is a top no. 1 corner, Bree is a top no. 2 corner. The only question is how well will Hall and Bruton play on the back end.
Steelers are limping into this.
Bell - suspended
Dupree - IR
Wheaton - out
Nix (ST star) - out
^^ Those are important pieces.
TheMalcolmConnection 09-12-2016, 02:24 PM I think if anything we'll put up the points. Now will be able to stop them? If we let what is essentially two players (Ben/Brown) beat us, then we deserve to lose.
I don't think we can run on them, but hell, we can't run on anybody and we still pass for a billion yards. I do worry about Cousins accuracy under pressure. It was bad last year.
JWsleep 09-12-2016, 03:18 PM JUst like every year, I can't believe it's opening night!
Gonna go cold hard sober: tough team to open against (price of having a good season last year, I guess). If we can't get to Big Ben (and I don't think we will out of our base D without the blitz) and they can run on us (not unlikely), it will be hard to stop their O. We may keep pace with them for a while, but our lack of a serious run game will hurt. If we get some TOs from our secondary, we may pull it out, but if not, I think Pitt wins without too much sweat.
For all that, I think what really matters this year is improvement, stability, and the continued rise of Cousins. Beat the weak ass NFC east guys and I'll be happy. 8-8 and another McLovin draft or two. We're not yet the team we will be, especially in our D front 7 and our o-line. But we're moving in the right direction.
