I can't find it, but the "Trent Williams" face was HILARIOUS from preseason. His eyes were all bugging out. Need to find that. Made me laugh my ass off.

I STILL remember that story about him getting hit with a beer bottle in Hawaii: "He just kept coming like Jason Vorhees man." He's one tough SOB. One of the few players I might FINALLY consider a jersey of with so few worthy over the years.

I have serious doubts about our defense. Our line is sketchy to say the least and the fact they brought in a 36 year old Jenkins doesn't help the cause either. The offense should be wide open, but even our running game worries me. We need to be able to control the clock and keep our defense off the field. I certainly don't see a 11-5 season, but we did get a lot of help from the Cowboys and Eagles this off-season towards winning our division. Considering the Giants lost 5 games last year in the last two minutes, I still think they'll be the front runner. I think we could go anywhere between 8-8 and 10-6. We still need a lot of work on that DL front.

Interesting going back. Have to say that I was severely disappointed by the offense. Too much talent on that side of the ball to flounder in games the way they did. I was dead on about our shitty DL though..lol

Very interesting to go back and read through these predictions...and that a lot of people were pretty dead on with their predictions. No one saw Dallass having that kind of season, or the Giants either for that matter and who would have? My question is....when will the Redskins EVER overachieve and be better than most think again?

I had 9-7 on the OP...but way off for the rest of the division.

Best thing on this thread is the Trent pose. If we could just photoshop a blunt protruding from the mouf...

I'm glad I didn't post my prediction. I probably would have said something stupid like Super Bowl champs at 19-0! But, I think most everyone was pretty close with expectations. Even those saying 11-5, barring injuries. Well, we did have some injuries and there were games the Redskins should have one (the first Dallas game, the Cincy game, the Detroit game) that we lost at the last minute (but were leading) or tied. Those games would have given this team 11 wins, despite how poorly our defense was overall.

So, after having a week to reflect back, I would say this team is still on a trajectory heading upward. Fixing the defense and establishing a more consistent run game will go a long ways for this team.
