Bill Callahan has a legit starting 5 now...time to work your magic
Redskins trade for Center Bryan StorkChico23231 08-25-2016, 07:45 AM Bill Callahan has a legit starting 5 now...time to work your magic Chief X_Phackter 08-25-2016, 12:20 PM So is he retiring or not? skinsfan69 08-25-2016, 01:25 PM Even though he may be better than what we have, my expectations are real low. Apparently he was being beat out by an undrafted free agent. There's are reason he was basically traded for a ham sandwich. There's are reason he was basically traded for a ham sandwich. Callahan, new team and this guy already has nasty streak with a chip on shoulder....my only concern is the health. Redskins' Bryan Stork has 'mean streak, health questions, versatility' - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN (http://www.espn.com/blog/washington-redskins/post/_/id/26554) Stork is head and shoulders above our existing talent at center, easily MTK 08-25-2016, 02:30 PM Plus he's still young, not sure what's not to like, low risk move with a lot of upside. skinsfan69 08-25-2016, 03:43 PM It's low risk which is good, but just not expecting much at this point. The nasty streak is fine but when he starts costing the team with 15 yarders then that isn't good. We shall see if he can get back to where he was as a rookie, but nice job by SM to try and upgrade a terribly weak position. Tired of watching Lich get mauled. And Lerib is a effing disaster. Alvin Walton 08-25-2016, 04:18 PM Former Pats C Bryan Stork will report to Redskins (http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabid/61/EntryId/58190/Former-Pats-C-Bryan-Stork-will-report-to-Redskins/Default.aspx) Chief X_Phackter 08-25-2016, 06:44 PM Even though he may be better than what we have, my expectations are real low. Apparently he was being beat out by an undrafted free agent. There's are reason he was basically traded for a ham sandwich. My expectations aren't any lower with him than they were with Lich. His history of concussions is a real concern, but there are a ton of very good undrafted free agents out there, so I wouldn't put too much stock into who his replacement is in NE. My guess is it's probably a combination of what he brings to the locker room and the concern over his overall health that brought about NE's willingness to trade him for basically nothing, more than it was his talent. As has been said already - low risk, high reward move. I hope he stays healthy and quickly gels with the current starters. MTK 08-25-2016, 07:54 PM It's real simple, Stork >> Lichtensteiger. Next topic. DYoungJelly 08-25-2016, 08:50 PM If the guy gives us one good game its better than a LATE seventh rounder, (notice the optimism) , never even sniffing the field. Hope he stays healthy, keeps his head on straight, and makes the Pats regret it. This is the best point written so far. The potential upside is so much greater than a 7th rounder. Is the 7th round pick a conditional pick? |
