This was a CNN opinion piece (https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/05/opinions/trump-is-definitely-in-charge-opinion-stanley/index.html) that had a link on the front page. If you take out the last paragraph, it a pretty positive piece about Trump's presidency. The last paragraph :

is harsh, because clearly it's accurate, I don't think G1 or Punch consider him their president, and certainly lots of liberals feel that way too.

I think a lot of conservatives felt that way about Pres. Obama.

Maybe 2020 will bring a consensus presidency back in vogue. I hope so.
I think you pro trumpters need to get it one way or the other .....Now CNN is good, like trump they say something good it's great "journalism" but if it says something negative it's "fake news " and lying MSM.

..................remember it's an OPINION Piece.

LOL, It's accurate becuase you want to believe it ,fact, most Americans don't consider him their president but why take out the last paragraph?. Let's not twist things as a media expert says!;)

You forgot this part of the artical, why? Like I said the trump cult wants what is good for them, fuck the country.

"Trump continues his streak of surprises. First, he won the election, then he proved far better at manipulating the media, setting the issue agenda and exerting executive authority than might have been expected. He has slowly colonized the Republican Party, achieving a growing uniformity of opinion. The fact that all of this "winning" is not reflecting in his opinion polls -- which still put his job approval below 50% -- only demonstrates that for Trump to triumph in his own particular way, he has to alienate a lot of people on the other side of the argument, to divide the country in two and trust that there are enough of his people in the right number of congressional districts, or electoral votes-rich states, to keep him in authority."

He is purposely dividing our own country so he can win. If that isn't fucking over America I don't know what is.

I don’t get any thrills from someone losing a job....none. But I certainly think it would be awesome if the mainstream media would present the news and the administration strategy in a manor that was more meaningful way...one that gives both sides of the debate. The hypocrisy of the media to give the pass on obama policies that were inherently harmful and negligent...and turn around and attack every single idea of this administration. .

LOL, BS, major BS Chico!

It is clear in your post it's not the media you don't like Obama's policies ,that's fine it's America we can disagree on policies but to blame it on the Media is BS . I don't like the trump policies but I am not blaming the media any trouble trump gets into he deserves all the scrutiny he can get becuase the media sure as hell did it to Obama.

Your really an idiot. I was trying to give to some props to CNN for posting an opinion piece that wasn't a total hatchet job. You just want to troll for the sake of trolling.

No not trolling. Not agreeing with you is not trolling. You simply can not understand or grasp the fact trump is bad for this country . Why are you even watching/reading CNN if you believe they are that blatantly anti trump?

Total aside from the current conversation, but I've noticed that no one seems to identify as a conservative or Republican anymore. They're a Trump supporter.

Just an interesting thing I noticed (at least around here)...

Carry on. :D

True. I am a republican and there are many republicans who are not trump supporters .I find it interesting that it's the right or the left .To me and it is only my OPINION, trump has transcended the party's he has divided our political system and put it into kayos something our friends in russia and China seem to be enjoying.

The only republican is G1. I identified as a Republican growing up, voted libertarian from 2004 til this last election, and would have voted Libertarian this time if they didn't put a shit show candidate up. I have a strong conservative bent, particularly on foreign policy/role of government type issues, but when it comes to social views I can't identify with the moralistic side of the Republican base.
