it is much to early to say who will be on the team this year. And Garcon's 10.8 ypc is very mediocre. Jackson is soft and small.
The key might be V Davis... 2 fast TEs, plus a running game = an explosive offense
We need that running game fixed. That's for sure. Not sure how that will be accomplished

Honestly, I really don't care too much about the running game. Potentially we have one of the best passing offenses in the league. That's what we do best and I hope Gruden and Co realize that and start calling plays like New England does. I'm calling it now, KC should be near 5,000 yards this year if everyone can stay healthy.

Doctson was clearly BPA on the board and Scotty Mac always says you take BPA whether you need them or not. I believe that is what he did.
We have needed a taller receiver for years now, looks like we finally got one.
Also some of you are forgetting we also have a speed burner in Ross, he should be better after another year on the team. In case we lose both DJax ad Pierre

Draft analyst quote about Doctson: "Unselfish, dependable and hungry worker - can't find anyone who will say a negative word about him." Scot strikes again!

Looking at his tape, I see a lot of DeAndre Hopkins in him, if he can give us that, beautiful

After the pick, I text my friends who aren't Skins fans..."Redskins offense is fu**Ing loaded". We're not done yet either, we will be picking a RB at some point as well I'm sure.
I like the pick. There will be good defensive players at our next pick.
A lot of weapons. An extra one for the red zone. Defenses won't know what to do with him and Reed.

I think it would be the opposite. Gruden and GMSM prefer tough players who will fight and scrap. Pierre is one of those players.
DJax bailed on the TD vs. Green Bay and went out on the 1.
Doctson/Garcon/Crowder/Reed is the skill AND attitude they're looking for.
I get your thinking, but disagree.
DJax was out last year, we got zero from Ryan Grant...he's was terrible. He got back and the Offense took off...why? He's the best shooter on the team and he spreads the floor unlike any other WR in the game. He takes the top of defenses...Ill take that all day long over Garcon.

Wanted to bump this link from 30gut...I thought this was pretty good stuff before. Doctson kinda shines in these scouting reports

If it comes down to DJax and Garcon after next season it will be DJax, Pierre is a tough possession receiver and so is Doctson, every really good offense needs a receiver like Djax to take the top off the defense. Think Gary Clark to Art Monk.
That being said I would put it at under 50/50 that either of them is on the team after this season, and Pierre might not make it this year, especially if they need cap space for some reason or another (like another Norman becomes available).
Garçon fits the McCloughan mold much more than Jackson. Once Jackson starts to lose a step, which could happen very soon, there goes his game.
