Get Muhummad Wilkerson At All CostsMTK 04-28-2016, 03:52 PM Some people are still stuck in the Vinny days apparently. Smith (8 sacks, led rookies), and Gallette (10 sacks in 2014) -- we cannot have an elite pass rush is also dubious. I think we need help with run stuffing more than a pass rush, at this point. QB pressure from the line would surely be great (and Baker had a pretty solid 2015 -- 6 sacks from Swaggy), but this D is focused on the LBs getting to the QB. As far as I am concerned, bring on the draft and let's go get some DT, S, C, ILB, and RB help. He should stop and regulate this thread. TheMalcolmConnection 04-28-2016, 08:13 PM With the signing of Norman, the Redskins top priority now should be getting Muhummad Wilkerson no matter the cost. Snyder has the money. The guy is an elite pass rusher. Not on the level of JJ Watt or Von Miller, but enough of a force to change the outcome of a game. You can have as many Josh Normans and Richard Shermans in the backfield as you want, but without a consistent disruptive pass rush, it means absolutely nothing. This defense needs at least 1 elite pass rusher up front or our defense will always lose the field position battle and struggle to get off the field. Ryan Kerrigan, Junior Gallette, Preston Smith, a player from this years draft will not solve that issue. Sure, they may help or even show flashes but none of them will fill the void of a proven 6'-4" 315 lb disruptive pass rusher who changes the flow of the game consistently (not just coverage sacks). This has already been proven by Carolina and Denver. Sure there is a way to get Wilkerson in here for what he wants while finding a way to restructure, cut some guys (Garcon, Roberts etc.) if need be. Some may be hesitant to commit such a large amount of money by having flashbacks of Haynesworth or looking at Suh's deal, however with this high risk is high reward. http://i.imgur.com/Zjwo4.gif?noredirect punch it in 04-28-2016, 09:13 PM Moderators, tear down this thread LMAO I will always see Reagan's face when you post now.
