well revis is probably still better at man, but for what we're doing, norman is a pretty massive upgrade.
Josh Norman CB is a RedskinThat Guy 04-26-2016, 09:52 AM well revis is probably still better at man, but for what we're doing, norman is a pretty massive upgrade. EARTHQUAKE2689 04-26-2016, 10:26 AM well revis is probably still better at man, but for what we're doing, norman is a pretty massive upgrade. At his best Norman is probalby the 2nd best corner in zone coverage Skinzman 04-26-2016, 11:05 AM Who had four consecutive losing seasons is turning 70 this August and had been the head coach of the NY Giants for twelve seasons and as "we all know" the NFL is a business and that is to win.Coughlin was asked to move to a VP position and help he chose to act like a petulant little child. While I fully understand the Redskins fan outside observation of a different team inside their own division it is skewed at best. Its pretty hard to win when you have that roster. Its not like he was put in a position to succeed by the team. The team went south talent wise and Coughlin, who isnt the talent evaluator nor the one who handles drafting and FA, was given 100% of the blame. Im pretty sure anyone would be pissed if an owner of a team told them, we didnt give you the talent to succeed, therefore you are a bad coach. Mara handled that pretty badly by singling out Coughlin when he wasnt the real problem, lack of talent was. KI Skins Fan 04-26-2016, 03:27 PM Theres an awful lot of Giants stink in this we have the best cornerback in the league thread. You got that right! I have no interest whatsoever in arguing with a visiting NYG fan about either his team or ours. I don't care about his team and I don't care what he thinks about our team. hutch17 04-26-2016, 03:48 PM I would really like to see what Scot's rating and review of Norman was when he was drafted and if he was really high on him then. With the speed he acted with you have to think he not only watched him as a pro but had been following him for a long time. Giantone 04-26-2016, 08:17 PM So Mara decided to get rid of Coughlin, hire someone with no HC experience and keep everyone else on staff? Really made no sense what so ever. He made it look like Coughlin was the scapegoat. Last time they did that it was some guy named....Parcells. Giantone 04-26-2016, 08:19 PM Its pretty hard to win when you have that roster. If you go back and check my post at the time you will see I agree with you but it still isn't all on Mara. I fully agree with you Orakpwned 04-26-2016, 09:33 PM This site broke down the financials of the signing (http://walterfootball.com/freeagentsigninggrades.php), and graded it. I actually think that grade was generous. Norman is getting up there in age and just had one good year. Not sure he deserves best CB in the league money. |
