My preferred options....
Trade back a few spots, pick up a C & DT with the first 2 picks.

Him or one of the many DTs Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk EARTHQUAKE2689 04-05-2016, 03:07 AM you can probably trade back and get Billings or Clark DT UCLA I'd take him at 21 hutch17 04-05-2016, 09:29 AM i wouldn't be mad...think you could trade back in the first and get him. Even better, trade back take him and get Karl Joseph and a DE in the second. I would be jumping with Joy. hutch17 04-05-2016, 09:32 AM McCloughan rarely trades the first round pick, he much prefers to take that one and then do his dealing in the 3-4 rounds. Alvin Walton 04-05-2016, 05:19 PM McCloughan rarely trades the first round pick, he much prefers to take that one and then do his dealing in the 3-4 rounds. And that would be my preference too... He seems to think hes smart enough (and most think he is) to get potential starters in the later rounds. Schneed10 04-05-2016, 07:41 PM Well, generally speaking you see more trading in the middle and later rounds league wide. I don't think Scot's lack of trades in the first round is necessarily an indication of his preference, it's an indication that there isn't as much demand to trade up for a first rounder as there is in the middle or later rounds. Trading up in the first round is really expensive. It takes two to tango. If he gets an offer for that first rounder and it delivers draft chart value, I promise he'd jump at it. 81forHOF 04-07-2016, 09:18 AM This draft is DEEP in DTs so I think they wait until 2nd or 3rd round to address that position. I see us going for a CB in 1st. Perhaps Mackensie Alexander or Eli Apple. |
