I don't think I've ever seen KC throw it better than he did last night. In those conditions. He was throwing lasers, into the teeth of the wind. That was a Tom Brady kind of game and I consider him the best bad weather QB.

This is why the Colt talk was just beyond laughable. He could not have made the throws that KC did last night.

Kirk is a franchise QB !! I still don't believe that scott is on board with this. I hope he is but It was somewhat telling watching Kirk tell him ..did YOU like that!! Scott had a reluctant attitude to me. There is some tension going on the there. Jay knows what we have. I hope the deal gets done .

Hey Scott ...

That was , awkward.

I think Kirk has a bit of a chip on his shoulder and last night in a emotionally moment kind of told Scott off. Too say/yell it twice and rub Scott's head, i don't know kind of disrespectful IMO but not fully knowing their relationship who really knows.

Kirk holds the cards barring injury someone is paying this dude next year; so if Scott is offend I am sure their are plenty of other GM's who pay the guy.

How you like me now!!!!” So there was this strange Vine (didn’t Vine die?) after Washington’s massacre of the Packers last night. It’s quarterback Kirk Cousins, following one of the best games of his life (21 of 30, 375 yards, three touchdowns, no picks, 145.8 rating), being approached by GM Scot McCloughan, captured by a CSN Mid-Atlantic camera and microphone. “How you like me now!!! How you like me now!!!” Cousins screams, while McCloughan attempts to hug him. Cousins doesn’t return the hug. McCloughan says, “Good job. Good stuff, man,” and they slap hands, and a glaring Cousins then runs his hand over McCloughan’s head. It was … a little weird. There’s never any joy on either man’s face, as you figure there might after you beat the Green Bay Packers decisively. Last year, Cousins threw for 4,166 yards, completed 70 percent of his throws, with 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He was a free agent, and Washington didn’t pay him what he thought he was worth. Cousins signed a one-year, $19.95-million deal with Washington in July. He didn’t seem particularly happy about not getting a long-term deal but stiff-upper-lipped the topic whenever asked about all summer. He told our Albert Breer in training camp, “I’m not going to take things personally,” and “Here I am. The team says they want to see another year. That’s fine.” It didn’t seem fine after his best game of the season late Sunday night. What does it mean? Probably nothing. If Cousins harbors a grudge against his GM, he can join about 300 NFL players who do the same. But it doesn’t mean he won’t end up signing a long contract with Washington, because he’s clearly in the process of proving he deserves what the upper echelon of quarterbacks makes. McCloughan’s a smart personnel guy, working for an owner who won’t let Cousins get away. That’s how I see it.

I guess in the end it means nothing. I don't know who Scott M can get better then KC at this point; probably going to have to over pay him a bit.

I said it last year and this year. Kirk's doesn't lose velocity on his throws. The whole "weak arm" theory is nonsense made by the style of offense we run, and Jays wind comments last year.

Kirk has a tight spiral and has the 2nd highest arm velocity in NFL Combine history. Ahead of QB'S like...

Cam Newton
Kaepernick
Rodgers
RG3

So no, I'm not surprised he threw into the wind for 60 yards and it didn't flutter. This is what makes him so accurate on intermediate throws and best for WCO. His ball never tails off in the air and loses speed. I'm surprised so many people are just now noticing this.

The 2nd highest velocity rating in NFL Combine history. Let's not fabricate his arm strength or lack there of anymore.

Kirk can spin it, no doubt.

Kirk was pretty disrespectful to SM last night. SM is the general manager and was doing his job by making the decision to franchise him. Me and many others all thought that was the best option. And Kirk still got 20 million, not like he is still playing on his rookie contract. That being said, as of now he holds all the cards and will be getting how money here or somewhere else.

He played amazing last night. Just about a perfect game and we needed that win badly going into a tough game on very short rest.

How you like me now was disrespectful? Man a lot is being made of that. I took it as nothing more than heat of the battle stuff. KC was obviously pumped, I really don't think McCloughan took any offense at all.

It's a win/win for Kirk and McCloughan right now.

More so, it was the combination of yelling in his face then rubbing his head like SM is his younger brother.

I don't think it's a big deal. Probably already over with. But I wouldn't do that to my boss lol.

It was an awkward scene, Kirk looked downright angry, and I saw a separate interview of him coming off the field that he was far more calm. His rubbing SM's head was a direct response to SM punching his chest. I do think SM loves that type of emotion in football players.

All that said, when the two sides go over it once the season ends, KC is going to be happy with his paycheck!
