Yes Dan Snyder owns the Washington Redskins. yes if he doesn't want a player on the team there will not be that player on the team. the same is true for every team in the National Football League and if you don't think that that is the case you are kidding yourself.
Mr. Snyder just paid Kirk Cousins 20 million dollars. I think he is ok with him on the team.

Hey I thought Snyder was going to fire everyone last year and take over as head coach and put his boy Griffin back in the lineup?
If Snyder was the tyrant some want to believe he is, he sure is doing a shitty job at it.

So why give him $20M this year? They could have just plugged in McCoy if a game manager is what they wanted. You're not making any sense.

This is getting weird now. Lol. The only thing that is going to stop Cousins from having a future here is Cousins. The Redskins have done everything in their power up until this day to make his future a successful one. Weapons on offense. Got rid of Griff. Paid him 20 million dollars. There are no ancient aliens that are going to ruin this, no magic 8 ball has answered with bad news. You have to take a deep breath and relax. Of course thi gs could go wrong, but not because that is our teams secret agenda.....I SWEAR!

There are plenty of Redskins fans who are losing sleep over the recent report that the Redskins may try to find a younger and cheaper alternative to Cousins if they can’t come to a long-term deal that makes financial sense for the team. One of the concerns is that this will make Cousins feel like he is unwanted by the organization.
We’ll see about that. The Redskins won’t be able to get their Plan B quarterback until next year. Nate Sudfeld may be the very rare sixth-round pick who pans out but we’re a long way from him possibly casting any sort of shadow. Colt McCoy is a journeyman backup. I’m not sure how Cousins can feel threatened at this point in time.
In addition, Scot McCloughan has praised Cousins and has expressed his desire to get a long-term contract done with him virtually every time he has spoken to the media this year (emphasis added in all quotes).
