Mark Schelereth called this a super bowl defense before the season started and boy was he right.

Considering the era and just how anemic Broncos offense was, man what an impressive year and historic accomplishment by that broncos D #nasty

To do that with an offense that stalls that much is insane.

Cam acted like a petulant child -- pure and simple. I won't deny that it must be a searing experience to suffer a loss like that in front of 200 million people, but get a grip and show some class. Being a world-class athlete and living in the spotlight also means the potential for moments like that -- it goes with the territory.

If he didnt shake hands w broncos players or congratulate Peyton, I think that would be classless.

If he said the panthers should have won and were the better team, that would be classless imo. I dont think him saying "they didnt do anything special" crosses the line bc denver didnt do anything special.

I saw a young emotional guy a few minutes after losing the biggest game of his life, just trying to come to grips with things.

He could have apologized and said his emotions are just too raw right now and he will answer every question tomorrow or after he has some time to reflect with his teammates and family.

he didnt pull a richard sherman.

True, he just needs to grow up some more. Right now he's a front runner. When the going is good then Cam is fine. But when he has some adversity thrown his way, he's got a major attitude problem.

I think people are being a little too hard and nasty on ol' Superman. You guys just wait until your kitty cat is stuck in a tree and the fire department won't come out to help ya! You'll be callin' ol' Sup! Seriously, sure, Cam could have handled himself a little different. Then again, I don't think his post-game presser was that bad. I'm more concerned about what he was thinking on that fumble than anything else.

A half a year is too soft! The dude is dirty! I'm glad we didn't go after him when he was available.

Honestly, I think personal foul penalties committed that close to the goal line should be an automatic TD, or at least some sort of score. Half a distance penalty in this case wound up being 1 1/2 yard penalty. Pretty much a free dirty shot!

In NFL Network, right after the game, he said he did it to prevent the TD. I think a lot of people will do this, so the rule that Goodell proposed (two PF's and you're ejected) makes sense.

However, my issue with that rule is how subjective refs are with QB hits and helmet-to-helmet hits.

I get that he was pissed. And I agree with Lombardi -- "Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser" (a quote that Cam made earlier today, as I understand it).

Having said all that, there's a difference between being pissed about the loss and not being OK with it, and acting as he did. And I don't care about the celebration in the background upsetting him either. You got beat. Badly. Deal with it. Be a man.

I have found Cam annoying all season (I hate the showboating -- maybe I am old school, but I miss Riggo and how when he used to score, he'd hand the ball to the refs). But the Superman nonsense? The dabbing? STFU and play football.
