Apparently he was paid to say that, I am really disappointed with that. How much money does he need, he's already made and got millions. Kind of came across as cheesy to me.
Multiple media outlets are reporting that Budweiser did not pay him anything:
Budweiser 'delighted' but says Peyton Manning not paid to shill for brand after SB (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14737625/budweiser-delighted-says-peyton-manning-not-paid-shill-brand-sb)
I'm with Mooby, to me it clearly looked like it hit the ground, and then moved as he rolled over
The ball can touch the ground if he has possession, looked like the ball moved around but I thought he seemed to have control throughout.

after the hit it touched the ground before the roll, when the defender's helmet was touching the ground, the ball was right next to it. if you don't have control at that point or the ground causes a bounce, i think they'd say it's not a catch.
i thought it was a catch too, but i can see why someone might say otherwise. in the context of that game, i'm not sure it'd really matter though. denver's D showed up looking to stomp face and that was pretty much that.

I'm sure he will learn from this. Marshall Faulk had a very interesting take on this, which I'm sure no one will care about. He talked about being a young guy, after losing a Super Bowl, and doing the same thing as Cam; and saying that just like he learned from that mistake, Cam will learn from this mistake.
The way Cam acted last night epitomizes why folks cant stand the guy. He proves it once again.
Did anyone ask him why he didn't try to get the fumble at his feet? Or folks gonna give him a pass on that too?

There are a lot of young QBs that have lost big time games like this and they didn't act like he did. It's not easy by any means, but a leader endures it and takes it like a man. Like I said, he has a lot of growing up to do. No passes are giving on stupid shit like this. I seriously doubt you'd see Kirk Cousins doing shit like that.
True but everyone matures at different levels. If Cam is ever lucky enough to make it back and he loses another one I doubt you'd see him act the same way. I doubt Captain Kirk would act like that too but we both know Cam and Kirk are two entirely different people and Kirk is clearly the more mature one.

Marshall Faulk gets it. Imagine working your entire life towards one goal, then getting to the game and you get dominated like that from start to finish. No wonder he was upset.
You cannot just be a Pro when you win.........
He has to do better than that

Looking at Cam numbers or what actually matters...he was absolutely horrendous last night:
Cam Newton 18/41 265 6.5 0 1 6-64 16.9 55.4. Rating of 16.9? 2 fumbles as well. 44% completion
wow
Yeah I thought Faulk was on point too. Cam is a young guy, he's still got some growing up to do but that's ok.

Newton's a front runner. It's all good when things are going your way and you're dabbing and celebrating every first down. He's a young guy but he's also been in the league for 5 years. Time to grow up, grow some nuts and act like a damn pro. You've got the massive contract, you earned it, now it's time to act like a man when things don't go your way. Instead he acted like a 4 year old who got his toys taken from him.
Denver's offense is putrid. Just downright had to watch. Their defense basically put the team on it's back.
