cant expect much from yahoo sports, they are fairly hot garbage in terms of sports journalism.
I mean, anyone who watched the cowturds know they have major issues at every area on the field. WR, RB, QB, Secondary, Linebacker, Pass Rush, Coaching, etc.
Does that seem like a first place team?
Not only that but the rankings mean jack shit, half the teams in the league will look totally different in 6 months. It's just useless click bait. I am mostly mad at myself for giving them 1 more click than they deserve.

I agree he is a bum, but I do not disagree with him. I don't think we are in the same class as Seattle or AZ. We are one more year away from being a legitimate challenger. I' sure we all agree Dallas is one injury away from being the NFC East dumpster fire.
It does blow my mind that no matter how poorly Dallas plays, they are always in the conversation to win the NFC East and to go on to the Super Bowl. Provided, had the 'skins gotten past GB in the playoffs, maybe people would start recognizing them as a legitimate threat, but it still makes me laugh. Nobody else can use the excuse of injuries for a bad season, but if it's Dallas, "Oh, Dez was hurt, Romo was hurt...." That's two players from a 53-man roster! Provided, Romo and Dez are two of the best on their team, but still, the Cowturds could go 0-16 next year and they'll still say Dallas is the best in the NFC East.
Lol @ all this bullshit its so laughable. .. cant wait to see what happens this year

My plan for better days ahead.....
DEF--
o draft and/or sign a ILB
o draft and/or sign a CB/NB
o keep Hatcher and Knighton
o draft DL (take advantage of the quality depth of DL in this draft)
o draft an edge rusher
o draft a S

i'm not sure i'd keep hatcher or knighton. i guess it depends on what we're looking at in FA/the draft.

i'm not sure i'd keep hatcher or knighton. i guess it depends on what we're looking at in FA/the draft.I guess it comes down to your assessment of their production. For me I think they are both productive players in different facets 1 via the pass the other the run.
I think losing them creates a hole we cant currently fill. We can hope the players we acquire via draft/FA are as good or better but i would rather add to them as opposed trying to replace their production.

I am sure I would not keep Hatcher or Knighton. You can save about 10 million dollars if they retire/leave. The draft is very deep at defensive line. And they could sign a free agent NT that is not 50lbs overweight .

Agree.
I really like Hatcher, but he is too old. The "want to" is still there but at his age and with his injury history, he can't recover from the beating he takes in a single week. He noticeably wears down over a season.
Hatcher has an 8.7m cap hit next year and a 4.2m cap savings if cut. His body isn't going to be able to recover any better being another year older. We need to cut ties and spend the money on youth.
Knighton was out of shape the entire season. He couldn't stay in for 2 plays in a row and be 100% effective. His play did pick up toward the last 3 or 4 games but he was a non-factor most of the year.
We shouldn't extend a guy who stayed so out of shape in his "prove it" year. Being 50 pounds overweight is really about self control. He would have been so much better hovering around the 350 mark.
The performance through 2015 didn't warrant bringing him back at anywhere near his 4m contract.
For the folk(s) that want to bring them back, what kind of contract numbers are you talking about?

Thanks for posting the article.
There are a lot of talented players on that list. I could envision the Skins picking up one of them on a cap-friendly short term contract. If they do, I'd prefer someone who also plays ST.
