Lauvao has also undergone 5 surgeries in 3 months...
Redskins' Shawn Lauvao recovering from five surgeries in three months - Washington Times (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jan/11/redskins-left-guard-shawn-lauvao-had-combined-five/)
Damn. He got five on it. long and that rookie guard from Alabama still have promise.
Upgrade the o line and our backfield will be fine. Really would love to be more effective running and running often. ... upgrade the trenches and work your way out...m secondary after that for me.... by now we are at like round 4 so dunno where we would go from there

??? I thought the guy handled everything very well with alot of class.
Man I like him and all but my god just let it go.. Not saying I don't wish him well because I do but did he really have to leave some long ass message in his locker? Idk just not my kind of thing I guess

The same thing happened in Cinci. Dalton put up nice numbers at the expense of the run game. Its actually less about Kirk and more about Jay's offense. But, for me when one praises the QB in Jay Gruden's pass centric offense its that same pass centric focus that imo limits the run game in the first place.
Just look at the numbers from the last game. At a glance Kirk posted better numbers then Rodgers. But I would trade a bunch of those passes into Alf runs and maybe that would have been more productive/efficient?
Anyhow...if we're gonna be a passing team, Kirk would be all that much better if he had a Dez or an Odell or even a Randall Cobb.
What areas do you want addressed going forward?
I actually agree with you and Chico. Although I would put pass rusher at the top. Putting pressure on the QB changes the entire dynamic of the defense and can mask deficiencies at other positions.
Would love to have a true 6'4" #1 WR and a true #1 CB. I think pass rush, WR and CB should be something a team should be willing to pay for while developing talent.
Not sure where we stand on safety either. Hall was playing well and Ihenacho was playing well but is injury prone. I would guess an upgrade is coming.
I think we are going to be serviceable at TE with Niles Paul coming back. Niles Paul is an absolute junk yard dog on special teams and I'm sure he will bring the same attitude to blocking in the run game. He can't block a DE but he will give it hell and has great hands.
Also, not sure what Mclovin thinks about Spaight. I'm really interested to see how things develop this off season.

when u have a guy like JReed things will be much easier on u, he's basically a #1 WR if u think about it.

Many of you are talking about drafting a LG, we don't need one Kouandjio (from everything I read he has nasty attitude) will win that job next year. We do need a C.

Our oline is fine guys yes we need a C and G but scot and Bill calahan will have that under control. Our main worries will be staying healthy enough to make a long run. Look at how young we are and all those guys already got great experience. We lost because we are not ready for the moment yet but just wait until next yr around this time when we will be right back in the playoffs. I'm not worried at all

My draft priority in a perfect world where each player in every round was equally good:
1. DE (Hatcher and Golston are probably gone)
2. NT (time for young long term answer)
3. CB (we need depth here)
4. Safety (Johnson was a bust and Goldson/Hall are getting up there. Duke is injury prone)
5. RB (Morris is probably gone)
6. TE (need depth behind Reed/Paul)
7. Anyone that can play special teams
I would like more picks to get a G/C. Hopefully Kory and Shawn come back healthy next year and we can get some depth in free agency as needed.
