Brody81 12-29-2015, 04:11 PM i heard a rumor from an internal warpath source that scheed likes kicking puppies.... 😁 😁 😁 😁 TheMalcolmConnection 12-29-2015, 04:12 PM Teddy Bridgewater being that high surprises me a bit. MTK 12-29-2015, 04:25 PM Teddy Bridgewater being that high surprises me a bit. Right? Anytime I watch that guy I'm always like meh Schneed10 12-29-2015, 04:32 PM Teddy Bridgewater being that high surprises me a bit. For one thing, QBR takes into account situation. Since the Vikings find themselves in winning situations fairly often because of AP and a strong defense, he's just asked not to screw it up. He keeps turnovers low. He also does a good job drawing pass interference and taking advantage of free plays (like when Rodgers always goes downfield when he knows he got the other team to jump offsides). And he's not a total statue, he has run for a few big first downs. 30gut 12-29-2015, 04:32 PM Teddy Bridgewater being that high surprises me a bit.I like to look at all the different QB stats and Teddy is much lower on Football Outsiders DVR/DVOA stats and the ole nfl passer rating but Kirk is still around 7th. TheMalcolmConnection 12-29-2015, 05:10 PM Interesting. I just feel like I never see him make any impressive throws and that wind-up if Leftwich 2.0. Oh well, just odd to see him rated that high. I guess when I look at either of those metrics, sometimes it's about the eyeball test for me. Can't say I've seen him (and some others in the top half) put the teams on their back and carry them like Cousins to Palmer have. over the mountain 12-29-2015, 05:31 PM “What I needed was not to go throw the football more, I needed to be learning from a guy who really knows the game inside and out so that mentally I could own protections and own reads and concepts and progressions to where I can do it in my sleep,” he said. “That was going to be the difference for me from being what I was last year to being a much better quarterback. You have to get around somebody who really knows the game.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/dc-sports-bog/wp/2015/12/29/while-playing-third-string-qb-kirk-cousins-turned-to-a-familiar-face-for-help/ quick interesting read. apparently last year when cousins was 3rd string he reached out and got outside-organization from a QB/WR training academy "throw it deep" and Jon gruden. SolidSnake84 12-29-2015, 07:00 PM Not passively. Aggressively. I'm telling him that this is garbage and he shouldn't be posting it. Nobody should. Don't we all have an internal bullshit meter? If someone writes a story with no facts provided or sources quoted, then isn't it painfully obvious that it's nothing but click-bait?? It's okay. I am not offended by Schneed's post to me. He is a good poster here, I respect his opinion, and there are actually some things that we have agreed on over the past couple of years. Unless i'm reading him wrong i'm pretty sure he was not attacking me personally, just saying that my provided article was BS. It's all good. skinsfaninok 12-29-2015, 10:29 PM Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins used patience, teammates to win - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/washington-redskins/post/_/id/22733/kirk-cousins-used-patience-weapons-around-him-to-beat-eagles) REDSKINS4ever 12-30-2015, 05:46 AM Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins used patience, teammates to win - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/washington-redskins/post/_/id/22733/kirk-cousins-used-patience-weapons-around-him-to-beat-eagles) Mike Shanahan said this would happen....
