I would really like to hear definitively what's going on with Keenan Robinson.

I just don't buy injury as the entire reason for he playing time being so low.

He has been playing in spots. If he was injured he wouldn't be coming in as a sub.

I get the feeling he won't be here next year.

Something else is up.

I think I mentioned I had heard that coaches were frustrated with Robinson for not being tough enough basically. Like there were some practices where he kind of loafed. You know it's the whole hurt vs injured debate.

It's been nine years since Cowher coached a game.

... just saying.

LOL ,and I would still take him over some others.

All so it's being reported that Coughlin will announce his retirement on Monday. Ohhhhh and the fun starts!!!:)(sarcasm)

Compton is a stud, he's way better than he appeared to be at first

I wonder how guys like Compton go undrafted. He's certainly developed into a solid and dependable inside linebacker.....

Measurables and speed aren't there. But he can read a formation, understands the defense, and communicates well. It's like Fletcher. You don't appreciate how good they can be until you see them in the pros.

PS not saying he's as good as Fletcher. But same kind of brainy player.

Maybe. I think he is the worst athlete in the ILB corps but makes up for a ton with instinct, smarts and anticipation.

He is willing, he just lacks the physical tools to be awesome. That being said, I agree, he is a pleasant surprise.Agree about his smarts. But i think he's one of the better athletes of our ILBs group....he's just small though. I liked him coming out b/c of his speed and agility.

well for NY, they can easily get the best coaching candidates out there, since, you know, eli manning and OBJ are already in place. that's like 14 plusses right there. I hope they pick someone awful though, like norv.

Thank you. I must have missed your earlier post.

Right. I believe Compton was an All American at Nebraska...but the game is slower on the collegiate level.
