He has come on strong since receiving the starting job....its not farfetched to think that both Robinson and Riley will be elsewhere next season due to the amazing contributions of Foster and Compton.

I would really like to hear definitively what's going on with Keenan Robinson.

I just don't buy injury as the entire reason for he playing time being so low.

He has been playing in spots. If he was injured he wouldn't be coming in as a sub.

I get the feeling he won't be here next year.

Something else is up.

^ Yup.

Robinson missed a ton of tackles early in the season, pretty sure that's a big reason why he's on the bench.

Mason Foster Repaying Team That Gave Him A Chance (http://www.redskins.com/news-and-events/article-1/Mason-Foster-Repaying-Team-That-Gave-Him-A-Chance/bdeaf19b-f113-45e0-b9a0-9b71d99a81ab?sf17876756=1)

“I was on the street, got cut, and I just want to play as hard as I can to let Scot [McCloughan], let Gruden, everyone else know on the Redskins that they didn’t make a mistake by picking me up,” Foster said. “I was going to do whatever they wanted me to do. I’m just blessed to be a part of this team, and I’m going to do whatever they want me to do and play my role to the hardest to help this team win.”

........nice
love that attitude

I get that he missed some tackels early and all...I read some of those articles. But he didn't miss those same tackles last year (or the year before if I recall correctly).

So...did he miss those tackles because he was trying to gut it out?

None of the coaches are talking about that, yet he's playing with some type of "bionic" brace on now-a-days.

Keenan didn't look like himself since early in the season.
He looked to me like a guy trying to play through an injury, he wasn't making routine plays the Keenan from last year made.

I also wondered if the scheme change to 1-gap, was effecting him because he was taking on more blocks?
But I didn't get all-22 this year...

But Compton is playing well, looks like a better athlete that many thought

At one time he was projected to be London Fletcher's long term replacement.....that doesn't appear to be the case anymore.

Compton is a stud, he's way better than he appeared to be at first

Maybe. I think he is the worst athlete in the ILB corps but makes up for a ton with instinct, smarts and anticipation.

He is willing, he just lacks the physical tools to be awesome. That being said, I agree, he is a pleasant surprise.
