Time to take the next Step: Skins vs kitty cats Pre-game threadBaltimoreSkins 11-20-2015, 12:11 PM Hmm maybe he has done it in 30 games but not consecutively/ I heard it on the radio and must have misunderstood. over the mountain 11-20-2015, 12:22 PM Sorry, but it's not a streak you can break. It isn't consecutive games. It's that Steve Young is the only QB to get 31 games with both a rushing and passing TD OVER HIS CAREER. Cam is at 30 already. If he gets another run+pass TD this week, he ties the record. If not, he'll have to wait and try again against Dallas. I know that doesn't change you not wanting that to happen this week. Just letting you know that it doesn't break a streak. How is Cam going to run for a touchdown with that knee brace on? looks pretty serious. Thoughts and prayers. http://i3.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article5576191.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/PAY-Nichola-Newton.jpg coffee 11-20-2015, 12:23 PM Cam Newton has ran and passed for a TD in 30 consecutive games? just looked it up .. he has 6 rushing TDs on the year in 9 games damn impressive still. Cam Newton - Carolina Panthers - 2015 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6491/cam-newton) -------------------- I also didnt think Cam would amount to much with his early pouting and play and I havent seen him play yet this year but i now like the guy. giving every TD ball to a young fans scores points in my book. seems to do a lot of off field stuff. seems like generally a genuine good dude. he has grown. good for him. Honestly, a lot of the bad stuff people said about him early on was justified. When we drafted him, he was not a great leader, he did appear to sulk when it was going bad, etc. Plus he had come off of some very stupid, immature off-field moves in college. He has done an absolutely amazing job of putting all of that behind him, but unfortunately it will follow him for a very long time. So I completely understand that fans of other teams are going to still think of those things and not necessarily keep up with how/if he's worked on it. coffee 11-20-2015, 12:27 PM How is Cam going to run for a touchdown with that knee brace on? looks pretty serious. KI Skins Fan 11-20-2015, 01:17 PM This game will be the defining moment for the 2015 Redskins. Will they step forward and win a game on the road against an unbeaten opponent. Can they score consistently without any turnovers against a top five defense. Will they stick with the game plan and mix the run and pass or will they revert back to panic coaching and throw the ball 50 times. Can they contain an accurate, allusive and athletic quarterback. They haven't done so in the past, this is the ultimate test.... Call me a fool, but I think they can. It don't see it as a defining game. I think the Skins have, for the most part, played up to their talent level and I'm satisfied with that. Unfortunately, Carolina is above the Skins talent level. NoCalHail 11-20-2015, 01:35 PM I want the team to win that much more this week so they (Panthers) will be angry and on a short week when they go to Dallas. Taking their first loss, at home no less will have them in the mind frame to want to go out and destroy their next opponent, and what better audience to rebound at than national TV on Thanksgiving? That said, I think this is a game that will be low-scoring and close. In fact I think the 'Skins will have a chance to win it in the 4th? I am not ready to predict we can do that against a tough, physical 9-0 team that is on a roll. However, if we do have that opportunity in the 4th quarter and we end up sealing the deal? It could be the biggest statement made by this team in a long time. over the mountain 11-20-2015, 03:22 PM http://www.panthers.com/team/injury-report.html Panthers are a pretty healthy team. CB tillman and panthers starting guard are out. i was really hoping Kuechly would be at least limited in practice. My prediction skins 27 panthers 23 punch it in 11-21-2015, 10:34 PM Great thread name chico. Fuck the kitty cats. They have played a handful of close gAmes and we r clicking.
