Stop Martin, have Winston beat us, Skins should handle it.

If this is a must win, then it's only a must win for Jay Gruden and Kirk Cousins, both of whom need to improve fast if they hope to be with the Redskins in 2016. It's definitely not a must win for Scot McCloughan or the franchise.

Before the season started, I thought we all knew that we were in the initial stage of building a team. There are some teams we can't beat and some teams we might beat on a good day but I don't think there are any teams we should expect to beat. We're not good enough for that kind of thinking.

We could be a middle-of-the-pack team if we had a HC with a clue, a QB who could overcome his fatal flaws, and fewer key injuries. Alas, that's not the case.

The Washington Post's Mike Jones expects the Redskins to release DeSean Jackson in the offseason.

Yes, we're already talking about next year for the 2-4 Redskins, who are in last place in the NFC East. Jackson has one year left on his contract after this season and is set to count $9.25 million against the cap. The Redskins can save $6.75 million by releasing him. They can save another $8 million by releasing Pierre Garcon. Jones expects GM Scot McCloughan to "overhaul" the receiving corps. Jackson turns 29 in December and has proven unreliable this year.

Per rotoworld....kinda like i was saying the other day...Garcon, DJax, Roberts, even Grant...WR corp gonna be gone next year.

Yes the Bucs lost bad to the titans and texans and just beat the Jags in a shootout. If we lose this game it would be time to start thinking about who we take with the number one pick.
Edit: im predicting a blowout just because Im a Skins fan. If we are truely turning a corner than I think we need to man handle this team. A close win just means we are in the mix with them, the browns, raiders, titans, jags, and texans again for draft pick superiority.

As for DJax injury woes I agree. As for an overhaul of the entire WR corp - one that appeared to be sort of decent just a few weeks ago .... Maybe a real QB would help?

Comes down to 1)economics 2)age 3)rebuilding team and 4)his guys. Crowder and Ross, probably safe.

When McC gets together with his new HC and OC, they will come up with a plan.

No brainer, they're all gone and should be. We need a red zone target, someone 6-4.

I really like the kid from Notre Dame, Will Fuller. Cincy free agent Marvin Jones would be another target. Combine him with Rick Ross, Crowder and another draft pick...boom.

Im not going to go next season just yet. We played pretty well up until last weeks second half. Only we lose a guy to a hammy and he misses several weeks? Wtf? Is Trent back? Reed? Dhall? I mean other teams lose key players with seemingly worse injuries and they miss limited action. Big Ben coming back soon. Romo broke his collar bone and he will be back before D-Jax probably? Wtf? Im going to take a deep breath pray for a win on sunday. We beat the Bucs - doable. Panthers beat the Eagles - doable. Cowboys play the Giants. We are either tied for first place, or a game out.
