man all this e-paranoia and shit... look around, there's lots of disagreements here... i'm just confused cause it seems like you're being contradictory for no real reason (troll maybe? apparently this has happened to you before)... you said something like its stupid for people to like this move and yet dont dissagree that he'd be an upgrade...
so whats the deal? do you nto like the pick? do you think he wouldn't be an upgrade? any reason why you think that?

i say sign him if we can get a good price---he's looking around at other teams so it won't be for the minimum or anything. regardless i'm confident gregg has the pieces to at least come near to where we were last year defensively; especially in the latter part of the season when carlos rogers catches on a bit.
Lenny P on McQuarters:
The Washington Redskins have a need for a No. 4 cornerback, and might soon require a punt return specialist if they release Chad Morton as a salary cap casualty, so the club will stay in contact with veteran defensive back R.W. McQuarters, who was released by the Chicago Bears earlier this week. But word is that Redskins officials weren't thrilled when McQuarters arrived for his visit with a two-man entourage tagging along.
McQuarters, whose résumé includes 58 starts in seven NFL seasons, and who has played virtually every position in the secondary and on special teams, will continue to explore his options. He might visit with the New York Giants, and all three Florida franchises have indicated an interest in meeting with him, as well. The former San Francisco first-rounder has 10 career interceptions and 52 passes defensed. He has averaged 9.4 yards, and scored three times, on punt returns and has a 21.2-yard average on kickoff returns. McQuarters' career has been marked by inconsistency but, in a league where teams always need cornerbacks, he will find a home soon enough.

Do you all think Bobby Taylor might be worth going after if, as expected, he gets cut on Wednesday? Or is he hitting the downslope of his career now?
You know what's funny about Bobby Taylor? Anyone remember last year when we signed Springs there was some media backlash that the Skins should have signed Taylor instead? I guess the Skins had the last laugh on that one, as Taylor is going to be hitting the waiver wire and Springs is coming off a Pro Bowl caliber season.
You know what else is funny, if you google "bobby taylor redskins (http://www.google.com/search?q=bobby+taylor+redskins&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official)", the first two results link to threads here on the WP.net

i think r.w. would be a better pickup than b.t.

When newly hired scout Donnie Warren said,
" I have to immerse myself in my office and read NFL.com and different web sites every day just to get the scoop on everybody." Gotta be talking about
