Kirk wasn't perfect today...he will probably be the first one to say that...but there were some balls that weren't thrown "perfectly" that probably should have been caught. Yes, if you get two hands on the ball at this level, you should catch it = TRUE!
Yeah, kicker missed a 53 yarder, but lots of kickers do that. Can't put the game on him...if he didn't hit the one at the end of the 4th qtr, there was no OT and no chance anyway...
Two INTs by Kirk, but in my opinion neither one of them were his fault, but I'm sure the talk will be Kirk just can't stop turning the ball over...already heard Aikman saying that, like he never threw INTs his first year as the starter...
Bottom line for me, this team is a lot better than anyone thought they would be, and a little better than their record reflects. They could be 4-1 but they are not. However, the are definitely in the mix in the NFC East. So all is well.

The main positive was the defense. Got some turnovers and overall did a really good job. The offense was pretty bad. I still expected a much worse loss.
I never expected anything better than an 8 - 8 season, and figured 3 or 4 wins was possible. So the way they have played this year is as good or better than I had expected. Other positives is that some young guys are stepping up. Not only this years draft but Breeland and Moses from last years. Crowder is looking like a steal so far.

Note to nfl receivers, if the Qb throws a shitty pass don't attempt to catch it because if you touch the ball it is now your fault you didn't catch it.

C'MON MAN!
There's a big difference between a "shitty" pass and a pass that is a little under/over thrown. I have no problem taking the position that if the receiver gets two hands on the ball, they should haul it in. Pretty sure every NFL receiver would tell you the same thing.
Note to NFL Quarterbacks, if the receiver looks like he's open, don't throw the ball, because if you do and the receiver falls down, it is now your fault you threw an interception.
See how dumb that sounds?

Skins are now 0-3 when cousins has an int in a game this yr. 2-0 when he doesn't
Good
Skins played a much cleaner game; only five penalties. That's a huge improvement.
Kerrigan returning to form.
Secondary played better than any of us expected going into the game.
Bad
Defense on third and fourth down conversions in the second half. Couldn't come up with a big stop.
Cousins and receivers just not on the same page (I don't care to point fingers; both need to work to improve their chemistry)
2 of the last 3 games our running game has not been effective

Good: we are finally playing football like a real team, and we are going to get our biggest weapon on offense back and win the effin division.
Bad: I thought about this while I was posting my comment above. Purely coincidental that it was a pick six in OT, it was more the failed prediction made with such conviction i was thinking about.

Can't argue with that stat. Being on the negative side of the turnover stat generally translates into more losses than wins...However, you say that as if all the INTs are Kirk's fault. Yes, they are on his stat line, but at least three of the six INTs this season (to me) were not bad decisions or bad throws...tips, bad routes, receivers falling down...all contribute to INTs....

A big part of that last play was that Atlanta blitzed a DB that no one picked up even though it was 5v5. Or if they had recognized it and the slot took a hot route into a slant, it was an easy 1st down because the safety was 12-15 yrds off.
