This is the exact reason why I don't think the QBs currently on the roster matter. McCloughan didn't draft Cousins or RG3 and doesn't have any loyalties to them.

By the way, if things start to fall apart even more, I would call Indy and ask if they'd want to trade for Morris. Frank Gore looks old and they have no one else in that backfield.

I would agree. They have no loyalty to either QB. However they determined that KC was the best of the group and are rolling with him this season. When the season is over, I would expect them to draft someone, regardless of how good or bad KC plays.

If Morris is traded then so be it. It would really suck cause I love the guy but that's the cold reality of the NFL.

Jones is a better runner for this offensive scheme- and he can pass catch. Last night's fumble was a pretty good play by the defender, so as mad as I was at the time (I've got him in all of my fantasy leagues too) I give him a pass.

I've always loved Alfmo but we dont owe him anything and no one is jerking him around.
Hes been getting his paychecks.
Hes been a damn good Redskin but thru some very lackluster years.
I like having the one/two punch in the backfield and I hope we keep it if we can afford it.

I agree with OP, not out of loyalty but Alf ability to run through contact is useful in games like last night.

Draft picks IMO.

Matt Jones has "breakaway speed" and the ball "breaks away from his body" as well. You can't turn the ball over and win games. Yes I'm talking to you Cousins, you Jones, and almost you Garcon. Oh, and our Special Teams is Special "needs" Teams. The most inept group of players I have ever seen. Do they even have Special Teams meetings during the week? I think high school teams are better at it than the Redskins. Yes Ross had a 101 kickoff return, which was nice, but seriously guys, please spend at least an hour this week on Special Teams. It looks like they don't spend any time on it.

I agree except about the defender causing the fumble. From the views I saw no defender actually touched the ball. Hopefully he gets that fixed.

As for Morris, as others have said- that's just how the NFL is with runners.

I like Alfmo and I like the one-two punch we get from these guys. But what I like even better is winning. If we get a good enough offer that would help this team....Thanks Alfmo. You did a good job when we gave you a chance. Now go to the AFC and kick some ass!
